Ah the classic boxer weakness, the boxer wants the treat so much, like for example when you put a strip of bacon on your foot the boxer will have trouble getting it because he loves his master so much he doesnt want to hurt he/her, so the boxer has trouble getting the treat

That's exactly how you train a dog. You should be able to have a plate of food on your lap, sit on the floor next to your dog, and never have them look at it.
