Hi guys my Official Sony PS3 Wieless Mic won't work. I'm talking about the new version not the old one like in this video. Anyways, So here's the problem. My mic won't turn off and when I try to turn it off it doesn't work. All it does is it blinks blue every 2-3 seconds. When I put it in my ear it sounds like someone humming. No, I have never even threw or broke it. This problem occured yesterday. I left it in my charging cradle. It STILL won't turn off. Please someone help. Thanks.
XxDeathtollxX to fix that all you do is go into accesory settings -> audio device settings and change the output device to your mike instead of the system default device

Maybe your charging USB isnt working, i dont have the official headset so i dont know if it has a USB hole on it or you HAVE TO PUT IT IN THE PAD but if it has a hole for USB try putting a new USB cuz mabe your old USB is broken, if you have to have the pad then get a new pad and USB, if this dosnt work, call sony. @Steerway213 hmmm if its the mic in this video then theres 2 ways to charge it. one through the pad thing and one at the top of the mic. try using the mic plugin instead of pad cuz my pad messed up but was fine through mic charge. hope this helped, sorry if it didn't
i might know what the problem is.. i just got this, you should try going to bluetooth devices and audio device, one of those two might have this "input device - none" you need to set that to the headset :D

Well after 5 hours of irritation, my headset started to work! Before entering "add device" on ps3, try to hold the On/Standby button on the headset for at least 10 seconds or even more, my started to blink in blue and red color after 20 seconds actually, it will start blinking as hell =( then in "add device" after the scanning it will show "wireless headset =) then my second problem was the charger, well it looked that I didn't pull the headset all the way down onto the charging platform

I just started freaking out because i was charging miune on my PC since my PS3 is always off and when i tried to turn it on I noticed that the light would come on and blink a few times until it turned off. So I thought : Maybe since i force restarted my PC while it was charging the PC sent a powerful current into it and fried it. So i left it plugged into my PS3 for a minute and behold it works and showed a low battery icon. I was super relieved

plug it into your laptop or computer and if nothing pops up like usb storage device found or enything like that try holding down power and the mute button and keep looking at the ring that flashes red and it should stay a solid red coulor and when its flashing red unplug it from you laptop pc plug it into your ps3 and it should flash red then after an hour try it out it worked for me.

@crazyman3561 just take a normal USB cord like the one you use to charge your controller and plug that straight into the top of the mic were that little rubber flap is.

i had the same shit with this.... wha ti did was...
1st let be fully charge
2nd go to you setting for bluetooth devices and delete the one you have
3rd plug it back intot he charger and try to register again...it might work again but i don tthink so...
4th turn off you PS3
5th turn your PS3 back on and make sure the bluetooth is plug to the charger
6th disconnect from charger and then go back again to you bluetooth setting and it should be there in your bluetooth setting
7th Just turn on

hey i have a problem with my ps3 headset tooo. ive a venom one. and i charged it fully but whenever i started scanning for it, it doesnt come up, well it just keeps scannin for ages so i jus give up. can anyone help please?

plug it into your laptop or computer and if nothing pops up like usb storage device found or enything like that try holding down power and the mute button and keep looking at the ring that flashes red and it should stay a solid red coulor and when its flashing red unplug it from you laptop pc plug it into your ps3 and it should flash red then after an hour try it out it worked for me.

I have a "bth-068 bluetooth headset" which I brought about a month or two ago... and it's suddenly stopped working? The headphones work but the mic makes a really loud noise and nobody can hear me.

@crazyman3561 just take a normal USB cord like the one you use to charge your controller and plug that straight into the top of the mic were that little rubber flap is.
