Anonymous uses DDoS, DDoS can't allow you to get into any networks, only slow down the servers using an arcane method of sending packets constantly. This was more then likely a small other group using SQL Injection.. the method is old and fairly easy to prevent but companies don't often have measures in place to combat SQL Injection.
