  • Is the car for sale ?

  • correction... the S stands for Superissimo in europa terms

  • Why in God's name do people find it necessary to ruin videos with gay ass music. Come on now.

  • Awkward and embarrassing. video for that car. Just let the porsche do the talking. Not ozzy or any of the other distractions. beautiful car though. it does represent itself well as the 911 always has!!

  • nothing like the sound of an air cooled engine!

  • very nice, but I prefer smaller steering wheel, you know like the one mcqueen had

  • beautiful car....i want one bad....

  • lucky guy! what a sound with only 160hp.the last 2.0l because 2.2l version began to be manufactured in September 1969.

  • Ditto Carrera6

  • Brilliant Video, I love it, used to have 1970 911, 1969 912, 1865 356, 11967 912

your car is the best there is and I can't take it. Me and my x-'s used to be pro

ballet dansers so i appreciate the classical and the rock is great and fits I can

listen by the engine, what is happening, the best the best the best the best

    Thank You,

    Randy

  • The Best Early 911 Video To Date!!!!!!! Period!!!!

  • drop the music and let the engine rrooooaaaarrrr...

  • VERY GOOD

  • How to make a 911s badass.

  • You would think that maybe, just maybe, Porsche would of splurged a little & jazzed up the steering wheel some. Very 'Volkswagen' looking. I know I am nitpicking. It is what it is & I want one.

  • I like the music fade in. At the high speeds I wouldve liked to have heard the engine and the low speeds but an occasional low soundtrack is cool.

Beautiful beautiful car. But whats the story? 69 2.0? 70 was the first year of factory production 2.0. Factory original? Like you bought it from factory?? wow. nice

  • Nice car but I could do without Ozzy... ;-)

911s were factory equipped with 2.0 litre engines from 1964-69... 1970-71 had the 2.2 and 72-73 a 2.4 litre unit. The "S" variant debuted in 1967, but was unavailable in USA in 1968, returning in 1969 and subsequently.

  • again; why do you need music?

  • nice video, but the music ruins it. I want to hear the engine, not Ozzy.

  • great car~!!!! GREAT VIDEO. love to hear the sound of the motor.

  • 3rd gear looks nuts.. i want one of these..

  • Very nice! Maybe we run "Dawn Patrol" some day. I just installed SSI on mine. What an investment... I wish I had 3 more!

  • whats the music?

  • Crazy Babies - Ozzy Osborne

  • @raffisagtblub it's the engine ;)

  • I own a sooped up '88 930, but the late 60s early 70s 911S is one of the all-time greats. Hold on to it. Prices are going through the roof.

  • yes the s stands for super just like the 911 sc stands for super carrera

  • cool video of a great car,looks like a gem :-)

  • What a wonderful car! I own the same, 69 911s. the only thing missing on this video is its incredible tenacity in cornering. This car can take all but the most nimble and powerful into any hair pin corner and wind up the winner. I am a long time mc rider and porsche owner and was amazed at this car's handling against fast and powerful rice rockets in corners.

  • i have a red one same year

  • Absolutely beautiful automobile. Enjoyed the video greatly.

    Keep cruisin'

  • That car is pure rock and fucking roll dude. 5 stars!

  • ummmm, cool video, but it sounded really gay when you said the "s" stands for super. just say it stands for speed man, speed.

  • "S" Does stand for "SUPER" according to PORSCHE.

  • I think he was putting you on. But yea it does stand for super. I thought for a long time it was sport. I have a 71 911S. no.s dont match and it was imported from Italy. Need to rebuild the engine...Cant wait to make my own vid. Nice vid btw. Very cool.

  • great vid man! getting my first 911 next week!

  • This car really produces music ;) I love those old Porsche`s ... they look cool and show that have soul and power =] forever alive ^^

  • Very nice video you got to love thoes earley 911s six webbers hell yes!!!!!!!

  • His has no webbers but uses mechanical fuel injection. The S model used mfi and the other models used carbs.

  • I owned a 911/s 2000 swb carb.160 hp and a 2000/s fuel injection 170 hp both needing full restor.work and both were sold while works in progress! What a pity I did never had any more chance to drive a 911 2000!

I recall my 2200/s and 2400/s as greatest sport cars. Have fun!

  • nice car... very nice video...why music?

  • Great video for those of us who lust over the great early 911S and can't afford it. The music doesn't seem to go with the subject of the video, but I really LOVED all the important stuff you got: engine/exhaust sound and the interior bit where I for a moment felt like I had started up the car and was watching the RPM gauge. Very cool. Thanks.

  • shweet care O.O me like it

  • The Best Early Porsche 911 Video to Date!!!! KUDOS!!!
