Awkward and embarrassing. video for that car. Just let the porsche do the talking. Not ozzy or any of the other distractions. beautiful car though. it does represent itself well as the 911 always has!!
You would think that maybe, just maybe, Porsche would of splurged a little & jazzed up the steering wheel some. Very 'Volkswagen' looking. I know I am nitpicking. It is what it is & I want one.
I like the music fade in. At the high speeds I wouldve liked to have heard the engine and the low speeds but an occasional low soundtrack is cool.
Beautiful beautiful car. But whats the story? 69 2.0? 70 was the first year of factory production 2.0. Factory original? Like you bought it from factory?? wow. nice
911s were factory equipped with 2.0 litre engines from 1964-69... 1970-71 had the 2.2 and 72-73 a 2.4 litre unit. The "S" variant debuted in 1967, but was unavailable in USA in 1968, returning in 1969 and subsequently.
What a wonderful car! I own the same, 69 911s. the only thing missing on this video is its incredible tenacity in cornering. This car can take all but the most nimble and powerful into any hair pin corner and wind up the winner. I am a long time mc rider and porsche owner and was amazed at this car's handling against fast and powerful rice rockets in corners.
I think he was putting you on. But yea it does stand for super. I thought for a long time it was sport. I have a 71 911S. no.s dont match and it was imported from Italy. Need to rebuild the engine...Cant wait to make my own vid. Nice vid btw. Very cool.
I owned a 911/s 2000 swb carb.160 hp and a 2000/s fuel injection 170 hp both needing full restor.work and both were sold while works in progress! What a pity I did never had any more chance to drive a 911 2000!
I recall my 2200/s and 2400/s as greatest sport cars. Have fun!
Great video for those of us who lust over the great early 911S and can't afford it. The music doesn't seem to go with the subject of the video, but I really LOVED all the important stuff you got: engine/exhaust sound and the interior bit where I for a moment felt like I had started up the car and was watching the RPM gauge. Very cool. Thanks.
Is the car for sale ?

Nice car but I could do without Ozzy... ;-)

I own a sooped up '88 930, but the late 60s early 70s 911S is one of the all-time greats. Hold on to it. Prices are going through the roof.
