  • Hey Trent, any reason why you changed the music on this one? i liked the other song on this video.

  • @Kirk612 yea, Youtube decided it didn't like the music in some countries, so I audio replaced it.

  • I heard the worldflight program is a charity event that raise fund by geting virtual pilot to flying globally.

    Am I correct?

  • @applesweeter Yep, right on the money!

  • Heyy greets from Germany..

ur Video are with me since 2 or 3 years? loving it! the old post from GAE195 is my old acount so i only want to say how much i wish to be in aussie and see this amazing thing with my own eyes

    regards

  • G-day mate, I hope you can help me - I have an illness and I need your help...over the last 6 weeks, I have become totally ADDICTED to EXACTLY what Im seeing here! I have dreams of building my own fully enclosed cockpit and having as much fun as you pilots do..- I watch this thing atleast 2 times a day and drool at the set-up and the dedication. Im here in Sydney and very much still learning with both flight sim and RC. got any quck plans for an enclosed cockpit handy? a simple on eperhaps?

  • Make sure you pop a line to Matt shiel. He's quite friendly. Find his details in a PM I'm sending to you.

  • haha, this gyu sucks.with this money he could become a real pilot.

  • He is that too. He's also a CEO of a company and makes lots of money.

  • so he could buy his own acft.

  • Not only could. Has. He owns a Baron B58 by the rego VH-EZR. Type that rego into Google and the first link should be the plane in question.

  • lol, so he could buy his own island in caribe!

  • Most Airline pilot's don't own airplanes. This guy owns his own aircraft also. real flying in the sky not a sim aircraft. Sometimes it's good to be rich.

  • you're on crack if you think you can complete the training to fly 747-400's for what one of these costs to build. you're looking at 50k for the flight training alone, 60k for a degree that most airlines require, and 3-10 years of your time just to get into heavy airliners after you get your commercial license.

  • i mean that he (or any person) could pay his private pilot and comercial pilot hours ;)

  • Well put together, fellas.

  • Any Flight simmers dream flight. Awesome job guys!

  • GENIUS

  • "Shine" by Shannon Knoll from the album "Lift"

  • Wow simply the best

  • Wow! simply brilliant. I wish I could have one of my own!

  • Excellent video and super sim!!

You´re welcome to visit Mexico this year 2007!

    Cheers

    Juan Carlos

  • Nice video. How did you guys like the Norwegian ATC?

  • Always great to have ATC from the local area :) I wasnt around for most of the Europe legs myself this year (06) instead I only managed to hang around during the Pacific, North American, Caribbean, Asia and Australian legs. This year's was even better with some improvements to the sim from last years.

  • Only in AUS would u find a BBQ That has anything 2 do with aviation

  • LOL, and beer.

  • thats pretty cool. How much did it cost in terms of AUD? The building of the cockpit that is.

  • Matt Shiel (the builder/owner) reports "somewhere between 30 and 50 thousand". This includes trips to America to procure parts from the aircraft recycling/graveyards. He is currently adding motion beds to the aircraft and other upgrades for Worldflight 2006 in november
