I actually don't sing the melody as I play, I do hear the melody that I am wanting to play though. I saw the tuning on the video of another performance of the piece. I have used the tuning before, it is quite nice.
Well for a first time instructional video I thought you were pretty good. Nice variations I enjoyed that. Can I ask a question do you sing the melody to yourself as you play? and what made you pick the tuning that it's in? It's a beautiful tuning.
