Awesome! Whereabouts in the desert are you? I'd love to learn more. I have friends who just bought a parcel in western Washington state -- very different from the desert, but also off the grid with no utilities. They're going to build a cob house on it -- rammed earth construction. There's a whole movement out there! Very inspirational!
