  • Honestly, this guy isn't that hard to understand in comparison to some techs I've dealt with. To my memory, the worst company I've dealt with in this regard had to be Computer Associates. Around 2002 or 2003 they shifted their support to call centers based in India, and it's was literally impossible to understand their techs. The support was so bad we dropped the product (ARCServeIT) we had been using for years, and purchased an entire new DR system.

  • Wow.... Evidence I've dealt with 3rd world tech support too much:

    He's asking the status of the case they have open. The case is related to a replication error, which after the tech has reviewed the application logs looks to be resolved. (He's not seeing further errors). Sounds like the issue is resolved and they are just wanting to close the case.

    Funny VID though. Reminds me of work :(

  • @berwin22 Yeah, this isn't that difficult to understand if you know the terminology. This is NOTHING compared to some of the techs I've dealt with over the years.

This is regarding the case, uhm, which we're working on - uhm, I just wanted to know, was it you that of that case...are you still see-cing (?) the same problem or rupture after my suggestions...or changes what you made (...), I am unable to see any further error, promoting me to uhm, to uh replicate (the) replication problem. I just wanted to know like wondered if, right now, if you are able to send a mail from both sides or that...you (?) are replicating on both sides or not...

  • Kinda funny, but I was working with a E-Machine tech and I swear he introduced himself as 'Fish' as well. It was crazy.... Halfway through the call, I figured it out my self and told him thanks and he goes, "I'm glad I was able to fix your issue!"
