Ive seen tons of stop motion videos on youtube but plamoo's videos come in mind. Probably the most creative and the smoothest stop motion video he has ever made.
He closed his account near the end of 2009, the one I think you are referring to is plamo0 (with the zero in the end) he is not the real plamoo, he stated that before on his profile which is not there anymore. He/she is just an admirer like myself.
I would think plamoo would use Sony Vegas and Adobe After Effects for his animations, and a HD camera which he still frame records about 20-30fps.
Very detail, delicate and awesome work as always, I guess he might use kind of software with Onion skin function to do such a detail movements, otherwise I can't imagine how to pose such details to the actions of model.
Before his website shutdown he had a message saying that he doesn't want people to upload his videos onto youtube and such. After a couple of days he closed his website. No more Plamoo.

well then, if I hadn't known better I guess he would either share with his friends or just japanese people. I won't think much on it. But I think that alot of his fans would be delighted to see all these videos where they are in your hands, I for one am thankful for you finding them.
plamoo's site is back up now. imo he probably just wants ppl to view his videos at his site and not be distributed without permission. Apparently he hates ppl doing that =/ Anyways, it's not hard to navigate his site, all his videos have dates, so it's easy to tell apart new from old.

I checked his website and he left a disclaimer, its a link at the very top of his movie page.
