  • Nice golf the mk1 its all I legend I own one mk2.

  • Would you answer to me ?. I got 1981 vw rabbit mk1 as a gift from neighbour and it's all stock on it. Engine is in really good condition though the rest of a car is not. I want to get some power of little 1.6 diesel engine by installing supercharger or air intakes, basic idea of these two is to get more cold clean air to my little engine or simply transplant engine from vw second generation gti. But i doubt that i could transplant engine with just over a $1100 and i am 15. Can you suggest smtng

  • I think you are planning to blow your coin in a wrong way. You got a bone stock 1.6 diesel engine and a 30 year old suspension/brake/steering setup. Tinkering with the engine will probably result in less smoke and will be better for the environment, but realistically any potential performance mods will be negated by the rest of the car. Save your dough and enjoy the car as is, you are only 15! Your time will come so stay cool and perfect your driving skills. Check out tdiclubcom if you wish to

  • @tubocaldo Suspensio and steering is not bad at all. Car has only 250k kilometres. I only THOUGHT about trasplanting an engine or upgrading some parts to get few more horsies.

  • What else go you have on her besides brakes and coilovers? i just bought a 1980 rabbit c, it has a 1.6 gasser in it, at the moment it doesnt run, if you know any where to get 1.6l gas performance parts that would be great.

Well, the list is too long, there is hardly anything stock on this car. Most engine mods were from Techtonics Tuning (heads, headers, piston set, camshaft, sprockets etc.) If you go to techtonicstuningcom you will see a vast parts for MK1. Also has Neuspeed torsion and anti-roll bars, full cage etc. Depending on what parts you are after, check out europartsdirectcom + performance-cafecom from time to time they have some good deals. I am actually selling mine soon...
