The performers had to try harder in order to prove themselves. Whereas on the US version, they were permanent cast members, so they no longer had that drive and motivation.

@NillyFmusic Heck, Ryan was even a producer of the US version. Wayne was permanent as well, although he did miss one or two episodes. They had ONE slot that switched, which was filled by either Greg Proops or Brad Sherwood, Kathy Greenwood etc.

The original is always the best, and this is no exception. Ryan was especially much better here than he ever was on the US version.
