Mass 1 had deepest story... Mass 2 was very emotional.. `Specially when u go to Normandy SR1 :`( Watching the trailers... Mass 3 is going to be first person shooter , with fake emotions ( like , did that little boy really had to die ?! ) Hoping NOT.... but for now it looks like that to me... PS. Multiplayer is awesome by the way! Can`t wait to play new maps <3

i love the fact that Bioware always improve. Its not like Saints Row or Call of Duty where the second one may be terrible and the first one is great. Like Halo, some like Halo 3 more than Reach and Halo 2 more than 3. But with Bioware games, they are always pushing the level of our expectations. I love that. I have played and beaten DA 1 and 2, and Mass Effect 1 and 2.
I have to say ME's story is better. Don't get me wrong, DA's story is still good, and is worth a try for any Gamer, but ME seems like they really, REALLY thought far into the future with the story. It all flows into one great plot.
DA is similar, but it just doesn't seem to be able to rival's ME's.
Especially DA2. And the weapons, clothing... ugh. Just Google it and you'll see what I mean with that.
@KHMDarkness I agree although I have never played Dragon Age I do have both ME games and have 3 on preorder as well the ME games reminds me most of Babylon 5in terms of a series with the Citadel being this universes equivalent of B5 and the Reapers being a lot like the Shadows and then of course you have the Mass Effect relays as jiumpgates so the ideas have been there for quite some time but I love the way Bioware have turned the ideas into a series of games they've done us a great service
@OrdoMallius of course the military would have plans for a average attack, but I don't think any civilization would have a plan against something as powerful as the reapers. Try to imagine a bunch of archers under attack against modern era solders. Obviously their is no chance that any battle plan the archers have would work against the soldiers. That is the situation earth is in right now.
I wish companies would stop this preorder item shit. I would much rather get an artbook or some other physical item for preordering the game than some overpowered weapon...
I love the writing for this series, deep, compelling, enthralling, and always interesting. Even though this may be the end of the Shepard story arc, I am so excited that Bioware has said they have a great wealth of material to do sequels or possibly prequels. :D
I tried the kinect on the demo and surprisingly it worked VERY well. Theres no longer the need to stop the action to bring up the menus,you can just say what you want to happen and it will happen

Trying to produce some kind of emotional response with the kid we don't know shit about (modern warfare lvl writing right there) and the entire Earth Defense Force not having a plan in case of a alien invasion so they have to beg Shepard for help.

I played Mass Effect from the beginning and its the best trilogy and story that I have ever played and I don't want it to end. I know when it ends that I'm gonna cry, not cause of the ending but because it will be the end of an era.
Good to know the writers at BioWare recognize the importance of a meaningful story; the epic explosions and fights are what make the game fun, but an emotional character-driven story is what makes it all memorable.

It's looks really cool but I dare to bet that we're going to see Mass Effect 4, 5 and 6, Mass Effect Revolutions, Mass Effect Reloaded, Mass Effect the RTS, Mass Effect: The Interactive Movie and Mass Effect Nostalgia after this 'grand finale'.

@TheOnePoorMan They have been commenting for years that they wouldn't mind trying to make an MMO or something after 3. They are ending Shepard's arc. I'm sure some of the endings will let you kill Shepard. They weren't thinking of adopting a new protagonist.

@EchoPrimm I don't play on PS3, I've been playing ME1 since 2008. Ordered my CE for ME3 online already. And you only install once on the PS3, unless you delete it. A big HDD shouldn't make that a problem.

@Totallyneutral Yes Skyrim has shallow characters you don't care much for, and the dialogue gets stale fast. lol. I put in 100 hours tho, since its fun to play and explore.

I played Mass Effect from the beginning and its the best trilogy and story that I have ever played and I don't want it to end. I know when it ends that I'm gonna cry, not cause of the ending but because it will be the end of an era.

Good to know the writers at BioWare recognize the importance of a meaningful story; the epic explosions and fights are what make the game fun, but an emotional character-driven story is what makes it all memorable.

@TheOnePoorMan They have been commenting for years that they wouldn't mind trying to make an MMO or something after 3. They are ending Shepard's arc. I'm sure some of the endings will let you kill Shepard. They weren't thinking of adopting a new protagonist.

@EchoPrimm I don't play on PS3, I've been playing ME1 since 2008. Ordered my CE for ME3 online already. And you only install once on the PS3, unless you delete it. A big HDD shouldn't make that a problem.
