I'm working on a project in science where I have to talk about an endangered specie in Canada and after I watched this vid. I said "Yeah, I'm soooooo gonna talk about this little critter! It'll give me an A+ for sure!"
@verdemanthe1 YOU ANIMAL THIEF! JK that would actually B pretty cool. But you do know they're known to be ferocious and they'll probably kill you before even getting your hands on one. Or maybe someone can train it!
What's heartbreaking is that creeps use steel leg-hold traps on these and other critters, causing unimaginable agony that last for days on end with the steel teeth grinding into their bones and tendons (until the creep finally returns to finish them off).
Creeps will do anything for a few bucks, save for letting someone use a trap on them to see how they like it. Worthless creeps are all tough and macho except when it comes to them being cut, then they run to their mommies crying like babies!
I had a ferret once, gave him and unoriginal name of Bandit. But he was also called the little beast and unholy terror. Think of a Wolverine as just like a larger ferret on steroids and a little psycho. Still wouldn't mind trying to bring up a Wolverine as a pet, because nothing would say stay out of my yard like a Wolverine.
@Sargonarhes yes sir ..i wouldnt mind having a wolverine as a pet.but i dont think they would make good guard pets.because they probably would eat the intruder and the person its guarding.they dont discriminate.
@Cobraeik well the wolverine chases other animals from their food.it chases bears .wolves.coyotes.away and steals the kill.it has also has been known to kill a polar bear and a moose.so as far as attacking, that is there primary way of eating.
@Cobraeik Thank you! They do hunt but not as often as people think and a lot of what people are saying on here is based on myth and legends. Thanks for saying something sensible. Although bears will rarely ever mess with a wolverine- they don't eat bears. I did read something once about how Wolverines claim a larger territory than Tigers- which is amazing. Also- the males return and take the cubs out for weeks at a time, showing them the ropes- so to speak. Pretty amazing little guys.
@nayrb6789 they are know to bring down moose so polar bears are not as far a stretch as you seem to think. Especially since they are far more intelligent than bears.
@nayrb6789 Of all the trillions of requests each day that people on the Internet ask of others to "cite" their source, Methinks you'd be the least likely to oblige.
YES! I love the wolverines at the detroit zoo! I always see them and want to go give them hugs because they are so damn cute!.... I have been told they wouldn't be so receptive to it though :(
@raven056 a wolverine is a weasel.its related to badgers, otters, minks ,sables, and a popular pet that a lot of people have.this pet is known as a ferret.
Finally a real wolverine video... took me like 20 minutes of searching around to finally find one.
