Hi Brandywell44, at that time I was just 11, Sanglas stopped production some years before I could even ride a mopped.
They are still rough and a little unreliable but easy to fix bikes, it is quite rare to find a S2V5 here in Spain, and I have heard they were the best prior to the unrevealed 750 which shared some parts with your bike.
Great video. I used to own a Sanglas S2 V5 and really enjoyed it. I was sad when Sanglas sold out to Yamaha as I liked the old designs and ruggedness. I still have my Moto Club Top Case Trophy from their Combs la Ville rally to which our UK Sanglas club was invited, 1981 I think? Anyone there too? Me and my Pillion Steve won the longest distance trophy, all the way from Near Birmingham UK to Combs la Ville near Paris France. Gracias for this video

Joder, y parecía que no llevaba casi curro. Pero es que la jodía estaba hecha con cachos de otras sanglas. A mi me mosqueó que en traje de 500s2 hubiese dinamo, pero bueno, ya se sabe lo que pasa con estas motos antes de restaurarlas. Me alegro que te la hayas quedado tu; mi amigo no tiene paciencia como nosotros y habría acabado tirada en un montón de cacharros viejos que tiene en la parcela.

Magnifico trabajo, es increible como ha quedado.
Yo aprendi a montar en una como esa y me trae muy buenos recuerdos, que pena no saber hacer un trabajo como el tuyo.

Me acuerdo que cuando cerramos el trato, el antiguo propietario me dejo "vaya m.. de moto que te has comprado". Me gustaría que la viera ahora.
