you nailed it, its certainly better than COH. Have you even played any of the Close Combat games? they are a little old, but i liked them because you really needed to use tactics. Even this game has is a little too much RTS. Id like to see a serious game based on real tactics with the kind of graphics found in Men of War.

Yes its hader, because you need fuel, ammo and you can not bulid new units. It is a good game.

It shows you the details of the penetration physics the game has. Watch it more closely and you will see how and why bullets bounces off from the enemy tanks or when you get an easy kill. All depends on the angle of impact, armour, gun strength and distance.

The damage system is completely reworked in the hard code, so you won't see the same results in BTRH mod ;)

lol then wtf you talk bout. The IS-2 stuff is a bit lame. There are accounts that several Hetzer did kill those on ranges below 500mm, after 10 rounds IS-2 caught fire. If you would shot with 125mm on this range it would blow and melt.

OFC im talkin bout 500meter range. Also the T-34-s were known for blowing up because of their ammunition. If you go and hide under a burning T-34, you have about 1:100 chance you get out alive, just read russian military accounts.
