I had this done so many times, and I almost fainted without seeing the surgery itself. I know my dad had to leave the room. I couldn't make it past 0:15 without needing to turn it off.
I have had mine done twice and THE SHOTS HURT VERY VERY BAD! I have to get it again and the shots made me scream, I am a needle phobic and I had to get six shots!!! Dont ever get this surgery if u don't really need it!

trust me its not bad AT ALL... just got home from a surgery right now...the only painful part is the 2 injections they give you to numb the toe....really it hurts like hell at the injection part (i aint afraid or scared of needles and usually the shots dont hurt at all but this one does like hell) but it only takes around 20 seconds of total pain and then it does not hurt AT ALL! im serious..

i had the surgery today. i will give you a walkthrough. i am deathly afraid of needles and i made it lol. ok they lay you down. clean your toe. put this liquid spray on you that frezzez your toe and they give you two shots you literally cannot feel. then a firey liquid runs down and burns. that is the worst part lol. then they leave for 5 minutes. they come back and your toe is completely numb and cannot feel anything. then the youtube video shows the rest. the liquid is the worst part lol
when i had this done. the local anistedic dident work... stuck me 6 times and nothing happend.... did this with very little anistedic... and it grew back ingrowm in 4 months.... i hate my toes

U only feel the shot. That kinda hurts a bit but its definitely very managable for the amount that the novacaine helps. I had mine done today on both toes and it was a lot worse than this one and it only hurt a little. If youre curious because youre going to do this and youre anxious, dont worry about it

@Cloakedsphere Batadyne is the cleaning supplement. and when i had mine done scence mine was so infected, i was able to feel it in that one toe. and plus they didnt give me the ternoket (idk how to spell it) but other than that it dont hurt

Yes the needle hurts, and no you cannot be put to sleep cause it is only a 5 minute thing. you feel nothing after the needle. I was worried too but it wasnt a big deal.

@pkersilly well the toe was numbed as u can see from the shot holes on the bottom and the actual surgery doesnt hurt, the only part that does hurt it getting the shots, it hurts like a bitch!!

I got two removed today.
Okay, im not gonna lie to you ones getting it done soon...EVERYTHING HURTS LIKE A BITCH. When i got the two needles i shouted a incoherent words and i started laughing nervously really loud. I got two more soon enough because i still kinda felt it, but fortunately you barely feel it like i did (still some discomfort though.) and when he removes it...IT WILL FREAKEN MAKE YOU HAVE TO MUFFLE YOUR YELLING. Im probably making you freaked out, but that's what happened to me.

U only feel the shot. That kinda hurts a bit but its definitely very managable for the amount that the novacaine helps. I had mine done today on both toes and it was a lot worse than this one and it only hurt a little. If youre curious because youre going to do this and youre anxious, dont worry about it

I have had an ingrown toenail before but some how i left it alone and the pain just like, "Disappered"... I don't know how the pain went away by its self, but it did... (Cant explain how the pain went away)...

my sister had this but it wasn't that huge of an ingrown toenail she said it didn't hurt when they took it out but it did hurt when they had to give her the needle to numb her toe pahaha.

I've had one side of the nail perm removed with the acid etc and the worst part was the needles, no pain afterwards.
Then later i got all of that toenail perm removed and the only pain I had was strangely about 30 minuets of agony when the numbness wore off then no pain what so ever after that.

@Cloakedsphere Batadyne is the cleaning supplement. and when i had mine done scence mine was so infected, i was able to feel it in that one toe. and plus they didnt give me the ternoket (idk how to spell it) but other than that it dont hurt

Yes the needle hurts, and no you cannot be put to sleep cause it is only a 5 minute thing. you feel nothing after the needle. I was worried too but it wasnt a big deal.
