Yiazmat is the Ultimate Elite Mark from Final Fantasy XII. He is not only the ultimate mark, but also the ultimate boss. Defeating Yiazmat will take at least fifty minutes at very high levels and player skill; but the fight usually takes hours.
I killed yiazmat with 3 99 lvl character all had zodiac spear, circlet and maximillian and accessory ribbon. It took about 3-4 hours for me to kill it without any tricks, only haste, protect and bubble. I changed the accessory to bubble belt in the end when yiazmat used only normal attack so I didn't have to do bubble all the time me chars got KO'd and yea it was fun killing yiazmat =).
how do u keep ur damage dealers from dying with sap cuz when i used this gambit, sap killed my chars :( and it sounds impossible to be kept alive with 1 hp and with sap i need some help with this and i used the same gambit as this with bleed but it ended up killing my chars..

@SuperLoneman that depends on ur strategy, i usually just use my strongest weapons(that means both zodiac spear and masamune/ultima blade/tournesol) + fomalhaut with dark shot and several comebacks :P no wonder it took me 10h to beat him the first time xD
@psaile93 lmao! 10h?? r u serious?? the most it took for ppl to kill yiazmat is 6 hours non-stop but seriiously i wanna kill him the fastest so idk which one is better i got all of those thing u said except i just need 2 more lordly robes and 1 more brave suits but the one on great crystal the chest has 20% spawn and 100% containing both of them like diamond armlet for zodiac shield and non-diamond armlet for brave suits o.O
@SuperLoneman it was totally 10h of fighting.. and i did 30 comebacks :P ...and i didnt have fomalhaut or zodiac spear the first time... and i was kinda low leveled the first time (around 55-65) so i went to train at around 40% to around 80 :P

@killzone12 i got muh dudes to 71 lvl i got goldenaxes and demon shields...best i got so far. i completed all the hunts except the yiaz. i got all espers to. i got a lot of rare creatures to. not all 80 though. i hope i dont have to do that to get to it sheesh. imonteblanch just keeps sayin he has no more hunts for me. what have i not done yet?
@phan303 i hvent gotten to yiazmat im stuck on the one hunt that you have to find the monster in a blizzard i spet hours tryin to summon it didnt have any luck so i quit that hunt so i finished the game and i deleted my save files that was like a good couple of years ago
It took me 12 hours game time, and over 2 weeks in real time to be Yiazmat. My technique was first person : Attack. Second person: Revive first person. Third person: Revive second person. Fourth person: Revive third person.
this guy WHEW... the only challenge in the whole game and well worth the fight i simply used the Folmahunt i think thats how its spelled lol yea equip it with dark shot and of course a well lvl up character will guarantee 9999 atk dmg and critical hit and since its a ranged gun the dumb monster gets confused on who to hit i had it just turning in circles
lol I was on Hell Wyrm's last spawn (for lack of better term) when I saved, and I accidentally saved over my sister's profile which brought me back to the Firemane battle :(
this guy took me hours to do and his life drops slower when hes flashing red, although theres a glitch where he gets stuck and cant attack you, so its pretty much childs play from there on :P
why would they ever put this into a game.... what would compel them to go "hey, we need a monster with over 15 million health, and your max hit, 3k, nuff said"

i killed him in 7 hours but my highest char was 82 i just attacked him and when he was about to kill me i ran away repeated the process several times and thats it a bit tedious though
boss isn't hard. just lengthy as shit. if you go at it in the faq way its ez. if you try to fight it with normal strategies, you'll get boned cuz its made to combat against any strategy (aggressive, passive, etc.)
Reverse reverses the effect of healing magic, and attacks. If a character is affected with Reverse, any attacks toward that character are converted into HP. However, healing damages the character.

asha is healer class maybe pally heals? and then balthier hunter and basch warrior tank?? dps tanks heals you got your team!! wonder why theyre 3manning this boss tho? lol for achievement maybe :)
i finally killed him..took me 4 days thru saving...a word of caution though...when he gets really low on hp if you go back to save he will regain health rapidly...and i do mean RAPIDLY.....i know cause i had to basically take his HP down twice...yep thats right TWICE!
@brucesv912 I know, i noticed the same thing. Although i havent played the game in a year. I remember that his HP recovered when i went to save. It did shock me to find out that his HP increased and had to fight him for a longer period of time the necessary. So i decided to beat him in that go. Took me quite a while. When I firstly tried, I died at halfway, but when I again tried, I killed like 97% of it, I got killed over and over again by those 12 hit combos and I got bored... I didn't play any FF for like year, and then I defeated it, and now I haven't played for ½ year =D. I'm just so much into Xbox 360.
Man, I wanted to beat this on my own and not look at any strategies, and I'm actually fighting it using gambits right now so I'm not looking at it, but I have no patience so here I am :P
Yiazmat can use growng threat to double his lv. froma 73 to 146 not to mention the fact that he has over 50000000 hp and has a really nasty habit of comboing so cngrats on beating him and please wsh me luck when I get to him. If you wonder how I know these things I have the guide.
god this guys a ass to beat. my main people are lvl 89/90 i can only get about 2 and 1/2 of his bubbles down before my mana's gone and have to go save and refuel. Use zodiarc rite off than put that main person in berzerk kick but till i can resummon him again and repeat. al the while healing and fighting with the other two main char.
it took me about 20 hours for this fight cuz basch vaan and balthier were only lvl 58 i only managed because i had alot of money and could buy 99 of mostly every item * i also had tournesol, fomalhout , and ultima blade*

damn,i mean u take all the espers (including zodiark) and omega and multiply that by 10 and i got one angry ass looking Yiazmat...this guy was an asswipe,took me bout 30 min to get one of his health bars down..ONE!..on the bright side i beat him 2 hours ago...this thing is like lvl 73,im on lvl 90 and like....damn....shoot,thats one step closer for me in getting the wyrmhero blade...Yiazmat you got my respect,but at the same time,you can suck my home skillet biscuits

boss isn't hard. just lengthy as shit. if you go at it in the faq way its ez. if you try to fight it with normal strategies, you'll get boned cuz its made to combat against any strategy (aggressive, passive, etc.)

i finally killed him..took me 4 days thru saving...a word of caution though...when he gets really low on hp if you go back to save he will regain health rapidly...and i do mean RAPIDLY.....i know cause i had to basically take his HP down twice...yep thats right TWICE!

@brucesv912 I know, i noticed the same thing. Although i havent played the game in a year. I remember that his HP recovered when i went to save. It did shock me to find out that his HP increased and had to fight him for a longer period of time the necessary. So i decided to beat him in that go. Took me quite a while. But i did enjoy this game. And sorry for this long comment. Like there isnt enough of these.

When I firstly tried, I died at halfway, but when I again tried, I killed like 97% of it, I got killed over and over again by those 12 hit combos and I got bored... I didn't play any FF for like year, and then I defeated it, and now I haven't played for ½ year =D. I'm just so much into Xbox 360.

Yiazmat can use growng threat to double his lv. froma 73 to 146 not to mention the fact that he has over 50000000 hp and has a really nasty habit of comboing so cngrats on beating him and please wsh me luck when I get to him. If you wonder how I know these things I have the guide.

god this guys a ass to beat. my main people are lvl 89/90 i can only get about 2 and 1/2 of his bubbles down before my mana's gone and have to go save and refuel. Use zodiarc rite off than put that main person in berzerk kick but till i can resummon him again and repeat. al the while healing and fighting with the other two main char.

Reverse (like the name says) reverses damage and healing, for example, if you are hit by an attack, you get healed, and if you use for example, curaja, you get damage.

damn,i mean u take all the espers (including zodiark) and omega and multiply that by 10 and i got one angry ass looking Yiazmat...this guy was an asswipe,took me bout 30 min to get one of his health bars down..ONE!..on the bright side i beat him 2 hours ago...this thing is like lvl 73,im on lvl 90 and like....damn....shoot,thats one step closer for me in getting the wyrmhero blade...Yiazmat you got my respect,but at the same time,you can suck my home skillet biscuits
