@Plawranc Yeah its not perfect, and some things are changed to help balance the game which I don't agree with but all in all I have played this game since 1999 when it was beta and I'm still playing it. Not perfect but what the heck, I still have fun after 9+ years now that's saying something
il-2 is a better flight model than wwiionline but wwiionline encompasses many other aspects of online game play that you cant get in il-2. in il-2 you are limited to basically air. In WWIIonline you can fly, play or para drop as inf into a city, play ground play armor play anti armor play as a destroyer on the water or a river boat or transport and ferri tanks and people to other cities and the map is continuous. I like il-2 but prefer WWII online. Thanks
Very good video, il rate it 5 stars!! I learned he trim and its importance&combat maneuvers.I am feeling more confident now in il-2 1946 .Now a question do you think ww2 online is better than il-2 as a simulation and does it feel better considering its planes and the way it goes?
Zyranyth, A couple of other things you can do is go to settings and set for performance, turn off any extra bells and whistles and while in game use F10 to reduce your sight distance so your computer is not trying to render the whole world around you. I hope that helps. Just remember this game uses a lot of memory so the more powerful CPU you have the better. NOTE: they are going to use a different programing software soon and that may help too. :) GL
What do you use for recording? I've tried recording with Fraps, but whenever I start recording, my fps drops to 2. Works fine in any other games, but ww2ol just plain gives up. ;)
Oh, sorry I just saw your request. Yeah I use fraps but I have a super comuputer I build myself lol. 8 gigs of ram with a Quad core processor, that allows me to get about 20 FPS when running Fraps and about 150-240 fps when not. WWII Online eats up memory so is hard to get moving pictures. Try doing some still shots and put them into a sequence. Also make sure all other programs are not running like Team Speak TS etc. Also if you can do your filming in areas where there are very few others.
thanks for the tip on the trim ttrick with the stick, but there is a huge draw back when using it, if you go to fast your pitch gets revered and eventualy have no control over the plain other than rolling, witch of course results in a crash.
i was wondering if there is a way to prevent this from happening other than just resetting it?
Oh I havent had that problem & Ive flown up to 700 kph in a 190 & 600 kph in a 110 & still in control. Not sure what happens with yours. Did you push Contol before moving the JS in the Y axis. should look like ( !Joystick1Yaxis)
OH thanks. Its a generic music found in Ulead VideoStudio 11 by Corel, great tracks & I have some that I down loaded from pacDV free sound effects. :& others. I also write music and Im working on my own orig score & video too.
Thats cool. Ive played this game since the first week it came out a little over 7 years ago. Its not perfect but I like it better than all others ive played. Some drawbacks etc but over all the best Online Game for me any way.

My latest and best video is Stuka Basic bombing. I'm getting better with each one. I would like to do other productions as well. :)
