@colninja23 cundiff could have called a time out if he felt rushed, but he said he didnt want to because he felt he was in the zone, and maybe he or the special teams coach need to one learn the rules or two pay attention to the sticks.

@ThumblessMittens I never thought about that. If Cundiff felt he wasn't ready, he can call the timeout. He's the only one who would know if he was not ready. Why put all of the blame on Harbaugh? Even if there were no timeouts, just take the 5 yard penalty. It's still an easy 37-yarder.

Harbaugh didn't want to call a timeout because he didn't want to ice Cundiff. We saw it with the cowboys this year, and Gilette stadium in playoffs is a pretty tough place. Maybe if the scoreboard had the right down set, it said 3rd down on 4th. Kickers usually go through a certain warmup every down in FG range. They thought Anquan Boldin fumbled past the 1st. So while Cundiff was kicking warmups on 3rd down, it was really 4th. So they had to rush Cundiff to the field, causing no time on the cl
