my father was from Pleasantridge Michigan. When the depression hit, they lost their farm. My grandmother chopped up her expensive bedroom furniture because she couldn't fit it in the truck and take it with them. White people suffered just as much as any other race. They all struggled. The father and oldest brother Frank, died long term illness. They then headed out to California. We are now headed back to a THIRD WORLD NATION STATUS, THANKS A HELL OF A LOT.

I grew up in Detroit and since the 60's democrats have been runnin the joint, gettin bailouts since the 60's and unions getting more and more benefits lead to a complete dependence on the gov't, the democrats give out welfare checks constantly, and people dont look to improve their way of life because of their dependence. This has problem has nothing to do with bush, bush did not bail out the company, and that was the right thing to do, the city needs discipline.

I used to hang out in Brightmoor in the early '70s. Eliza Howell park was where we would score our drugs. Now the cops are afraid to go in there. Last year they pulled 63 stolen/abandoned cars out of the woods by the creek.
