having more then one transmission on the car is a bad idea, other companies in the past have tried and the loss of power between the transmissions causes speed differences in the tires which causes the torque tube (essentially a drive shaft between the motor and transmissions to spin at very different speeds. causing twisting of the tubes (which as i am sure most of you suspected is a bad thing)

Its basically the same as the new Chevy Volt.... except they are adding essentially the KERS system that the F1 cars use which stores the kinetic energy from braking and stores it in the batteries that drive the car...

Its Called a HYBRID and its been sold on the market for the past 10 years by the Japanese... Just because it combines 2 engines does not mean its something revolutionary.

@xenoo4life the only thing "revolutionary" about this car was the thermo electric generator. No hybrid on the market as of yet has a way to use exhaust heat to recharge the battery, but other then that it is just standard regenerative braking, nothing special here folks
