unlike america we dont have camaros and corvettes, and when you do find one they go for 130k plus vipers go for 200k and thats just the regular roadster version, whilst you can pick an r32,33,34 up for less then 20- 40 k thesedays. plus its far cheaper to build tough japanese motors here then yank 8s as theres a much larger surplus of used and imported aftermarket parts for these cars.

Thanks bro, no matter how tricked out the civic is Id never take it over a Skyline. The Civic was made as a generic economy car, there's just been loads of aftermarket parts made for them. Skyline has been setting records on the street and on the track since the 70's. specs said it uses a HKS five speed air-shifted-gearbox with a triple plated clutch and flywheel

said it was putting down 900HP aswell. hope that helped :)

Since it's last public runs, the car has also now been fitted with a limited edition HKS 35th Anniversary T62R as well as few other items being tinkered with to allow the power to be increased to 1200bhp. Not to mention a complete rework of the roll cage to stiffen the shell up even more. With their current 60ft times, a mid 7 second pass should be on the cards!
