my mom contacted his manager and got and autographed poster for my b-day! Best birthday present i ever got. if u guys live in new england bode runs a tennis camp in new hampshire. never been there but im hoping to go
You might think WC skis are something crazy, and they in fact are amazingly powerful. However its not just the power of the ski. A lot of it is technique to properly edge and position your body for correct weighting on the ski. I personally ski a pair of Fischer WC GS skis when its not a crappy day to use my Rossis but... still when I was getting use to them, the ski will carve for you with little pushing.
The main thing is not the hardness it's the angle of the edge slalom worldcup they ski at 86 degrees minus one for the plate. You can't ski with those if you can't carve properly and proper carving needs strength
haha talent only in gs???? what a pure reject lili whatever ur stupid name is, did you watch the downhill from bormio last week??? Miller 0.45 clear of the field number 1
yes and no, yes in the sense that you had to control the older skis more than you do nowadays and no in the sense that the courses reflect the change in technology, theyre much wider and a lot more technical to make up for the parabolic technology in skis. look at the difference between ingemar stenmark and benjamin raich, stenmark was a more "accomplished" skiier by his extensive world cup wins, but id say that raich has much more finesse
he definetly would not be winning the overall right now if it wasnt for his slalom. Plus bode started out as a slalom specialist i think he has the technic
Yea i have met bode miller when he came to Mt Hutt, New Zealand. he was training with the Norwegin Ski team and he rox. He had a little mustashe that i complemented him on and he is very sexy.

he has talent only in gs....
with such a technic it's almost imposible to be good in slalom...
he should definately focus only in gs or combined... etc

skiing isn't about finese anymore. It's a lot about power. The technology in skis does the rest

You're right, it's all about carving these days. You just need a lot of power and some technique.
Only on the real steep courses a skier like Benni Raich can ake the difference with his finesse.
