Murray, what is going on at about 2:10. Are you doing anything; any canopy inputs? Or is that just a little softness in the leading edge? I see your feet down -- speedbrake on?
The first flight (stills only) was prob 15kts with good thermal lift (out to over the reed beds/river) the second (video) flight the wind had picked up a bit to around 18kts peak, the main issue is that this camera picks up wind noise at one angle (wind from left in this case) while it can go almost quiet at other angles...
I really need to see if I can sort out a 'wind muff' of some sort!
I got a bunch of these harnesses, DHV stamped '91 (also DHV3!!! wings :-) about 6 years ago.
I was selling of a load of old kit (on behalf of the family) that had belonged to a BHPA instructor who died a few years after having a very bad accident. The harnesses were in almost new condition at that time, but as you can tell as I fly a LOT they are just about worn out (this is the last one I still have that usable (but very scruffy!)..... need to get new copies made!
