  • I made it and it looks awesome

  • You are awesome

  • mines a little big but i think ill grow into it

  • whered u get these two colors

  • i made this with a buckle

  • I was wondering how many feet of chord you would use for a bracelet about 7 inches long

  • how much of each color would u need for a 6.5in wrist. please help!!

  • must it use only with paracord?

  • @XxDanial951xX - No. Any thin cord would do.

  • Can this also be made out of 550 paracord ?

  • @AndB467 - Yes.

  • Hi, i would like to know how long the bracelet you make in this video is . cuz my wrist is normaly smaller then the bracelets you show in your videos thank you

  • @Domidod1d Make it less long......

  • IS THERE ANY WAY TO DO THE T-VIRUS BRACELET AND HAVE A QUICK RELEACE BUCKLE WITH IT?

  • It looks like you removed the insides of the gray cord???

  • @TIAT What is the length of the finished bracelet? You posted cord length but not the finished bracelet length. Wicked awesome sinnet design, can't wait to make one for my beefy wrists

  • How would i doe this if i was using a buckle

  • I was following along fine until i got to 4:18... Where do you get 450 cord? I only have 550 (can't find 450) and once I hit 4:18 mine looks wrong.

  • can it be one colour aswell

  • does it fit everyones wrist?

  • Really cool videos TIAT :-) 10 out of 10. What is the music in this one?

  • Very cool! Can't wait to try this out (I actually just ordered my paracord from the Army Navy site today!). Quick question, did you discover this/these knots, or learn them?

  • @jfreeman81 - I'm an artist who uses cord as my medium, so you can say I dicovered them. *smile*

  • Hey JD! I'm a new fan of your vids, and I would love to know how much cord I would need for a bracelet, like this one.

And how much cord would a belt take?

  • @Myself, I'm such a tool. Didn't notice the "Cords used" part in the video! :P

I do have another question though.. As it's kinda impossible to buy 450 paracord on ebay, I would like to know if this is do-able with 550 paracord, or would it be too thick to look nice?

If you have a 550 version of this, could you send me a photograph of it? :D

    Thanks in advance!

  • @SatanMadeMe - 550 paracord work just as well.

  • where do u get your paracord???

  • @YOYOTVIPERSKATE - I get my 450 Paracord from VTArmyNavy(dot)com

  • how can i tell how much rope to use if i want to make a belt out of this?

  • Just did this one today. Had some trouble at first - I would inadvertantly rotate the bar and it would reverse direction on me (the outside part). After a few trys I figured out what was happening and was able to make a bar sucessfully. I also found that it looks nicer and more uniform if you leave the knots a little looser. At first I think I was over tightening.

  • I think it would be great to make the center bit two colors that crisscross (by melting the ends together) but I don't really like pressing the two singed ends together if it's going to be exposed (kind ugly) anyone got another way to do that?

  • @mikefishermagic I think I have an idea - a bead! the right bead could hide the joined seam and it would be at the "top" of the sinnet, which could look very cool :D

  • @mikefishermagic I saw a vid where someone inserted one cut end into another cut end w/some glue or something. Then they shrank it up a little with a lighter. They were using two ends from the same piece to make a small ring. (for their finger)

  • is it okay if you dont singe the strings

  • @tintin2374 - Yes.... It's okay.

  • can i get someone to make one for me i paypal them and they send it to me plzz plzz pm me

  • Do the singed ends hold up pretty good or do they slip inside after a while?

  • @Themousewolf - It's pretty solid (not likely to slip).

  • If I were to use 550 paracord should I add a little more length or keep it the same

  • how long of each cord?

  • @ss138341 - :::Video Details::: Knot 0:35 Cord 0:46 Base 0:50 Tech 2:39 Tie Off 5:52 Cinch 8:15 Diamond 8:29 Finish 10:12 Music 10:35 Twitter 10:47 Email 10:51

  • What is the ratio of "raw" parachord to inch of Wide Solomon? In other words, if I want 36 inches of finished Wide Solomon, how many feet of 550 chord? Thanks in advance!

  • The t-virus sinnet looks pretty wide for a "bar" type knot. What is the widest of the assembled knots you tie? Looking for an assembled knot length that can be used as a strap or belt.

  • @cptexas1 - i'd use the "Wide Solomon Bar" (historical knot) or my "Bush Bar" (fusion knot). I have videos for both.

  • cool

  • You sir, are awesome! this is the coolest bracelet ever!!

  • My girl will love this! :D

    Thanks!

  • Just finished making mine. This is a FANTASTIC bracelet. Not only is the weave SICK looking, but it's more comfortable to wear than others I've tried. The crossing core means it can stretch and compress a bit, so it's not stuck at one fixed size. Not sure if you intended that, but it's an awesome, very desirable characteristic for this type of bracelet.

  • Isn't the knot you called a diamond knot actually called a knife lanyard knot (at least they call it that in the Ultimate Encyclopedia of Knots and Ropework, a book I have)?

  • @zandermanandcassymom - It’s called both the Diamond Knot and the Knife Lanyard Knot. But there are so many knots called "Lanyard Knots" that I prefer to use Diamond Knot, it’s less confusing and a catchier name.

  • i like it but you dont really get to see the cross very well like you do in the test tubes... could you make it longer inbetween the side knots to help with that?

  • @Thomasgates1763 - you could leave more space between each row of opposing slip knots, yes.

  • @TyingItAllTogether Thank you JD, also i get a lot of complements on the bracelets that i make thanks to you

  • How can somebody possibly dislike this?

  • You have now achieved 'epic' status. <333333

  • Dang, I use a entirely different material. I use a thin flat plastic material. That would be so cool if I could make this one.

  • Great tutorial!

  • Thanks for the Video. I appreciate the time you take. Easy to follow.

  • im having trouble getting this paracord string and i need help finding out which stores in the DFW have it... help please

  • @vaneessaC71295 - Borders book stores carry it... Still, you can order it from any bookstore you visit. Just ask for it at the counter, they should be able to order it, if they don't have a copy. I get my paracord from VTArmyNavy(dot)com

  • @TyingItAllTogether thank you and i think your videos are awesome. :)

  • JD, you have to start promoting your videos. i found you a long time ago by luck, and you were exactly what i needed.

  • Would 550 work?

  • Wpuld

  • where can I buy cheap para cord?

  • @firelizarda87 Army surplus stores carry alot of different colors

  • @firelizarda87 just google it

  • where can I but cheap para cord?

  • the diamond is a lanyard yes?

  • legendary work dude 5*

  • would it be easier if you were to take our the white strands? just wondering

  • @ZarocLow1994

If you did that the cord would be flat and look all weird.

  • JD, you have done it once again. This is another work of art that I think, we have all been waiting to see since the preview. Beautiful design and awesome execution of the finished piece. Two thumbs up! Thank very much for your time and patience in sharing this with us all. :-) On a side note are there any book stores that have your book? I have a Hastings & Barnes and Noble near by. I ask since i'm having trouble ordering through Amazon.

  • I thought it was gonna be more complicated than it looked but totally easy to do. And it looks awesome thank you

  • Whoa! Too sick!

  • Very cool! I'd like to try this knot using a fastex closure, the start is simple enough to adapt but I'm having a little trouble deciding how it should end ^^;

  • @meatabuse

Tie the triangle knot over the bar on the end of the clip, use a pair of hemostats to tuck the loose ends in and clip and singe.

  • Great stuff....Per usual..

  • coo foo...

  • Lovely :D i can't wait to try it. Thanks for the great instructional videos!

  • Awesome work again JD.

  • I Luv your videos, cause I'm a rope and knot guy to. I just luv the way you do them you do the steps soo clearly Its so easy so thank you so much JD!

  • Man I luv your videos cause I'm a knot guy as well. And most people on YouTube don't really show the steps clearly as you do so great job JD.

  • BEAUTIFULLY DONE JD!!! Definitely making one right now even though it's 3:30Am here. =)

  • PS. I like your videos and how clear the steps are overall. However I wish when you start(with your trademark thumb reveal) you would indicate where on the line to start the work. i.e. in the middle of the line, near the working end or standing part. This has come up on other vids too. Thanks for the work.

  • @newcoyote well this is about guessing or using logics, since this outcomes as a bar or bracelet type, and one color is represented throughout all the work, it should be starting in the middle. Though it would be a bit easier to get it if JD showed the ends.

  • @newcoyote i agree, it would be helpful :)

  • @newcoyote - @newcoyote - For the most part (with very few exceptions), my ties start in the middle of the rope or cord. When two cords are used, both are drawn to their middles. Less, you run out of cord on one (parallel) side before the other. You don't want that... *smile*

  • How DO you do it?! Man, you make it look sosooo easy. I said it before but I'll say it again, you have a gift brother. I am doing this knot right now and people will go freaking bananas. As much as I'd like to take credit for it..I sadly can't. Keep um coming JD.

  • Excellent work JD thanks for this.

  • where do you get the colored cord? i can only find camo colors

  • @sk8rkid5463 Hit google and look for VTArmynavy dott com and they have the 450 paracord in tons of colours.

  • Cool. I've been waiting for this. Time for a change of the standard double cobra tactical wrist armor.
