Suggestion: You could try setting the light at different angles during the course of growth, so the plant changes direction. It would look rather cool in time-lapse, I'm sure :)

Time lapse is usually done by taking a single still image every so often, intervals depend on how quickly change takes place. the quicker the change, the shorter the intervals between images. for this one im guessing they took 1 picture a day for a few weeks.

I tried something like this, and a nice frame for seeing this is 1 frame at any 5 minutes. A movement of plant can be seent also at 4 min.

Excellent time lapse. Well filmed. Good composition and I like the black background. I do time lapse myself on celluloid (movie film.) Ive heard that if you do a lot of time lapse with a tape based video camera, it does a lot of wear on the components that control the tape heads. Have you experienced this? Though no problems for video cameras that record to a hard drive.

It is pretty hard on the camera - starting and stopping the heads every 60 seconds for days at a time. Luckily my time lapses don't last more than a week.

Looks like he germinated them (1-5 days) and planted them under a light probly a random one, than maby left it for a week or so.

I was wondering if it is worth it to buy a GL2 right now because it is cheap or to wait longer and buy a sony HDR FX1 because it records to high def. Im also kinda sketchy on my choice because the FX1 is heavier then the GL2 and it seems alot bigger in my oppinon
