@zorp311 It has been in part already done by Google if you search Google car and ignore the Google street view camera cars you will be able to find it, the technology was developed from the DARPA Challenges. so America was the first one but rest assured Japan had its part as the car was a modified Toyota Prius and I bet Japan will further develop the idea maybe autonomous 18 wheelers and taxies/buses. saves life’s, eases traffic and cuts carbon emissions and more free time :)
