  • Make it easy. Itilian bread crumbs 1 cup..parmesian cheese 1/2 cup. dip chicken or pork in eggwash roll in crumb mixture and bake..325 to 350 for about 40 minutes. remove from oven and drizzle with butter at about 30 minutes for a crispier crust if desired and return to oven for remainder of cooking time.

  • @schweetheartmonkee I normally add salt if I don't use meat tenderizer; however, with the salt from the Ritz crackers, you really don't need extra salt.

  • @gaeleozil Well if you've ever used an oven, it's good to know that 350d celsius is 667d fahrenheit and you'd burn your house down. I don't even think most home-ovens go that high do that?

  • I used my own marinade but this cooking method is THE BEST!!!! The chicken was so incredibly good that I will always cook for this length of time now, thank you :)

    I cook chicken almost nightly and this is a sure way to have great tasting chicken every time!

  • I was really surprised to see you using meat tenderizer. I'm even more surprised to know that they're still selling that!

  • @TheLipzShow Some people equate meat tenderizer with MSG. The meat tenderizer I use is Adolph's brand, and it has no MSG! It's tenderizing agent is papaya, and it does wonders for meats.

  • @TheLipzShow, real tenderizer is just enzymes that occur naturally, usually produced from fruits stems - pineapple, figs, etc. It doesn't require that you beat it in, because it naturally penetrates meat. Put some on your tongue (it wont hurt you, it tingles at best). Believe me, every human is equipped with a stomach that contains much more powerful enzymes.

    Any MSG or 'bad things' in tenderizer would only be found as filler in cut rate brands.

  • @gabriellet87 Hi! You do not have to use meat tenderizer. Just use the same amount of regular table salt.  The tenderizer breaks down the meat and makes it a little more tender, but that is not needed in this recipe!

I used my kitchen chopper&used the 2 bags of MrsCubbison Cornbread Stuffining Mix.I put the ground up stuffing in a bag, dipped my chicken in butter like you did&then I put my chick. in the bag mixture&put in my baking dish.Same temp,& cooked it the same time as you.Betty you gotta try this.Everyone LOVED IT!! My house smelt like Thanksgiving day!Try it

  • Hi Betty ;) I made this dish before& it was great! I made it again tonight, but I changed it a bit and wondered what you thought about it. Instead of using ritz&parm. cheese I used my food chopper and grinded up a box of Mrs.Cubbison Cornbread stuff. mix. Same drill lol I just used butter and Mrs.Cubbisons dressing.It's cooking now. Smells so good.What do you think of that idea?

  • If anyone wants to know where to get that tiny mini food chopper/food processor/grinder -you can find them at Walmart for like under $10.00. They work Great!! I chop my onioins in it just like Betty and it makes it so easy and perfect. It worked GREAT on getting those Ritz Cracker very,very fine.

  • Hi Betty:) I just put your dish in my oven ; ) Used only 4 chicken breast so they fit nice in the 9x13 dish. I have a handy dandy mini food chopper like you chop your onions in to grind my ritz crackers and it worked GREAT! Push a button an walyaaaaa perfectly grownd crumbs.Love that little machine! It's cookin' now ; Thanks!

  • I actually made this for supper tonight. But I do not have ritz crackers so I used soda crackers and it was so yummy. Thanks for sharing your recipe! My tiny little family loved it and now they are fat and happy (our words for saying filled up and feeling good)!

    I am glad your dog is fed well and safely. Our dogs just LOVE leftovers and it is a nice treat sometimes! :)

  • Make sure you cook that meat before you give it to your dog. Raw meat can make a dog really sick.
