  • The Brut 33 era! Gordon Murray ,style icon!

  • Ah yes! I remember watching this on TV on the day... Like you say, at that timeeverybody said F1 had lost it, not as good asit used to be etc, now we seethis era as classic! Funny how lowbudget every thing looksinnit! Like abanger racing meeting!

  • Such a historic race, for many reasons. Thanks for uploading.

  • Something's not right with this video. Is it the cars? Is it the haircuts? No. The film crews, editors and directors are not showing off their editing techniques or plastering instrusive special effects gimmicks all over the screen to block your view of the action.

They are doing what they are paid to do - capture the race so the viewer thinks they are actually there and not as if they are playing a computer game.

That's my petty gripe over. Nice upload :)

  • Seventies Hair dominates.

  • Many thanks for posting this. Brings back fond memories. This was the first GP I went to. My dad co-commentated the race with the late great Mike Dicken for Radio Oxford. Back in those days, Radio Oxford commanded a prime seat in the commentary tower so I saw the whole race from up there. Fantastic fun.

  • Thank you for posting this. I was at the race so it brings back a lot of memories.

  • 05:56 that is the video clip they used in the BBC intros fo f1 races with the Fleetwood Mac song
