Something's not right with this video. Is it the cars? Is it the haircuts? No. The film crews, editors and directors are not showing off their editing techniques or plastering instrusive special effects gimmicks all over the screen to block your view of the action.
They are doing what they are paid to do - capture the race so the viewer thinks they are actually there and not as if they are playing a computer game.
Many thanks for posting this. Brings back fond memories. This was the first GP I went to. My dad co-commentated the race with the late great Mike Dicken for Radio Oxford. Back in those days, Radio Oxford commanded a prime seat in the commentary tower so I saw the whole race from up there. Fantastic fun.
