  • I suppose the younger man in the Death Head hussar uniform was the Crown Prince (Kronprinz) under Wilhelm II. He certainly had a very beautiful wife! What was her name? Thanks for the excellent video.

  • I've gotta say, those European Royals had some mighty good lookin people in their blood lines. All with blue eyes, blond hair, some dark brown, but hey, they're good looking. And I love those uniforms they wear, only place like it is England when the Queen comes out to play.

  • Ich genoss dieses Video.

  • Actually The Totenkopf, represented something real evil, penetrated in the Magnificent Glory of The Monarchs of Deutschland, with as result World War Revolution and the Overtrowing of Der Kaiser. and some other Crowned heads, as we all know followed with other cruel Dictators, who muredered many and claim The Freedom! The current Monarchies should have learned from their ancestors History, in The present times of uncertainty they should maintain Peace and Stabilty, as their Divine task orders!!

  • Would be nice to see a benevolent Catholic Monarch

  • Although they have no power what ever became of the Prussian/German Royals ??

I know that the Kiaser went into exile in Holland untill he died in 1941 but what of the Royals today ??

  • @thebritish25 They still around, still in Germany like most of the rest. The current head of the family is Prince Georg Friedrich, who looks alot like Wilhelm II. He went to school in Britain, served in the German army and now works in the private sector.

  • @MadMonarchist Ah ok so they still have power ( not in the sence of a nation but of wealth) and the Grandson of Wilhelm is in charge thank you.

but two more questions is the tittle of Kaiser no used any more.

And what role did the Family play in the 2nd world war did they go to Britian or did Hitler leave them alone??

  • @thebritish25 The title is not used anymore, as to WW2 that's a little complicated. The Nazis courted the Kaiser but he opposed them but one son did join the party and was blackballed by his father for doing so. They didn't leave the country, a grandson went into the army and was killed and after that Hitler ordered all princes kept away from the front because of the outpouring of royalist sympathy. The Crown Prince was kept under arrest until the end of the war.

  • @MadMonarchist Ah ok thanks for clearing that up for me Final question can you ever see a monarchy restoration in Germany ??

  • @thebritish25 Anything is possible but it is highly unlikely at this point. It is against the law to change the current form of government and the bundesrepublik is pretty good about outlawing any opposition parties that make them nervous. So far the monarchists in Germany avoid political parties.

  • @MadMonarchist could you explain me why the Kaiser title is no longer valid?? Thanks for your answers

  • @skull16cr There is no empire anymore, so an emperor (Kaiser, in German) is not a valid title, unless it is reauthorized. The title was also used by the Habsburg emperors of Austria.

  • @MadMonarchist and what does the Totenkopf represent? the one in their hats

  • @skull16cr It dates back to the Napoleonic Wars when Duke Friedrick Wilhelm of Brunswick was killed in battle as his hussars, as a sign of mourning adopted black uniforms and the deaths-head on their busbies. As a result it came to be associated with elite troops.

  • @MadMonarchist I thought it was created by the SS, I was wrong.... Thank you very much for your answer

  • @MadMonarchist

Totenkopf was also used by the 1st and 2nd Life Hussar Regiments of the Royal Prussian Army

  • @MadMonarchist I remember reading somewhere that these Brunswick troops fought under Wellington at Waterloo, (correct me if I'm wrong), there was a comment about their death head insignia and black uniforms.

  • @MadMonarchist What is the name of this song? Sounds like something you hear from a Lucio Fulci movie. I love it!

  • @gumdokim It`s from Das Boot,the theme for that.The ww2 movie about a u boat.

  • @bazzatheblue ty and i love this song

  • You could not have picked a better piece of music for this. Very erie but in a good way.

  • Very well done!

  • 'Hoech der Kaiser!"

  • cool the the music feels like a train ride

  • i love these prussian death heads hussars fighting for freedom from napoleon.

  • copy that sir. thanks. i appreciate your excellent academic feedback.

  • what do the colors black , white, and red mean?

  • @Rico8458 The Imperial German flag was red, white and black -red and white were the colors of Brandenburg and black and white were the colors of Prussia.

  • @MadMonarchist

A little correction here: The colours white and red, in this context, were the colours of the Hanseatic League, a league of free cities in northern Germany. The flag was first used as that of the Northern German Confederacy after 1866.

  • Sir(s): If I may, and if U do not mind, I see this fine film of yesteryear (ca. 1870), and I remember the quotation of Francis Thompson, here, namely, "The angels keep their ancient places:--Turn but a stone, and start a wing! 'Tis ye, 'tis your estranged faces, That miss the many-splendoured thing." This Monday, 1 FEBRUARY 2010, 1:10 PM, CST, USA, I state my Motto here: "Accomplish Nothing Short of Excellence." This Excellence does not lead to Apathy, Suffering, Procrastination, Etc. Godspeed.

  • What song is this? Also, nice video.

  • It's the theme from the 80's German submarine movie "Das Boot"

  • Thanks. My cinematic talents are certainly limited but I'm doing what I can for the cause. As they used to say, "King George and Olde England Forever!" -and in relation to this video, 'Hoech der Kaiser!"

  • @MadMonarchist Hoch lebe seine Majestät der Kaiser, hoch lebe der Kronprinz!
