i heard he stopped screaming cos he hated it he just couldnt sing very well so he had to use something to compensate for it and screaming was the answer but he had lessons to improve his voice so he stopped screaming

you can't blame heafy for not screaming, if he continued screaming... he would have fucked up his vocal cords like m shadows cause he screamed souly from his throat, so heafy didnt have to scream in the crusade but if they would have stuck to their roots and not try to copy metallica or somebody in their instrumentals... it would sound better. because crusade's instrumentals are definately not trivium, the oly good tracks off of crusade are entrance and detonation

This is a great live like light video just before trivium became a metallica wannabe band in download this year >_< i do wish they keep the same style as like light , dying in your arms , fugue , pillars of serpents and pull harder , classic songs but now they will be pretending to be metallica for a bit.... next whiskey in the jar-o by trivium >_>

Trivium's new style seems to lead more to classic Thrash metal. I do enjoy the older style more but, as someone stated before, their skills have improved, and change. Almost every band is like that.

i disagree there. i think matts new singing has overall improved trivium. i used to hate them but now coz of matts new singing stlye. i can listen to thier songs without turning volume down. but of course thats my opinion

On the RAR and Download, he was singing witht he crusade style of singing which is alot less screaming. Personnaly i think he should all ways sing the EtE and Ascendency songs he should still use his old style, but unfortunatly it doesnt look as though that is going to happen. The new singing is still good but it doesnt suit the old songs.
