  • yea sounds best on a fender

  • Hey I have a basic fender amp, could you tell me the best amp settings for this song??

  • what amp u use ? how u get that sound?

  • i have your amp :) the vox is amazing. i keep it on either cali metal or metal bull when i play iron man by ozzy osbourne and also when i play back in black by acdc and it sounds right on.

  • you people are RETARDS. this isnt fake. metal is played with full 2 stepped drop, D, but punk rock, is played, E Flat, which is only one step, and tuned on every string

  • what amp do you use ?

  • FAKE AND GAY he steps back one on the last cord it should go up to the first fret SO FAKE AND GAY if u watch carefully then he should go forward on the last one

  • @supremekiller11 LMAO That's only if you play it in drop D you freakin idiot. This is the correct way in standard tuning. Instead of the first fret the last chord is an Em chord (022XXX). Look at the tabs that are included right in front of your face moron! No one would have to fake this song as it is probably the easiest song out there! Or watch one of my other 150 videos....stupid ass. You must be a guitar hero player!! LMFAO

  • @supremekiller11 Oh and watch their live videos and you will see this is how he plays it too.

  • @supremekiller11 i smell a troll

  • I liked the video , very good . Watch my video (BANDA TRAMPO) , comment if you like

  • your really good ROCK ON!!!

  • How do you make the scratchy noises? When I do the muted notes they don't sound right.

  • @AllHailHelms Don't press down on the strings, just rest ur fingers on them lightly.

  • Man, nice cover

There are only a mistake, in the third verse, you should strum each chord 4 times, palm muting the last 2

    Keep up the good work

  • @gibuselli Green Day doesn't even do that live

  • Great cover, such a fantastically simple song! Mind checking out my cover?

  • what guitar is that? plz respond!!

  • @VansSk8Girl American Fender Stratocaster

  • @jtodd900 do u think i should get this one as my first electric guitar??? im just gonna play greenday so could u tell me if its good overall plz!

  • @VansSk8Girl Well unless you have the money, you probably don't won't want this one as a first guitar....it will cost you about $1,000 for a new American Strat. But you can get a Squier model for around $200 I think. Depends on what kind of music you want to mostly play. You say for Greenday but I am sure you will play much more than just them in the future. I think more people would recommend to start out with an Epiphone Les Paul as a better overall guitar.

  • @jtodd900 My sister has an epiphone studio and i have a squier hss and i find mine to sound better and be easier to play. I'm just starting, do you think a fender standard would be a good guitar?

  • thanks for the tabs and the tune!

    ;-)

  • this is the perfect song for people who just get into playing guitar

  • @ScoobWRX04 you right i am just start playing guitar but i cant read yet read tabs LOL

  • @ScoobWRX04 i agree, it took me like 20 minutes to learn it

  • @ScoobWRX04 Yes and the whole band i went over to my friends house and he can play this on drums so we are starting a band and doing this for next talent show, actually lots of bands start by covering brain stew

  • the part where you are raking i think it is called (if i am worng on that then the part with the x instead of numbers) how do u play that part i am learning to play that song but i cant find any good vids that show me how to rake and the tabs i have call that raking so if you could just tell me how you know where to hold your fingers like what i am trying to ask is what number tab dose each finger go on and how do u know cause all they are is x's and it confuses me thanks.

  • what the x's mean is you basically just want to lay your finger's across the strings instead of holding them down against the fret.

  • palm presses

  • tuned a step down ?

  • tone?

gain, bass, treble, middle, level, tone?

    plesa! tanks

  • from 2:10 - 2:32, you still have to keep picking all the way throu the palm mutes. it's a different rythm thou

  • ausome cover

  • u are the awsomest guitar dude

but im only 11 and play im only like 3/4 into it now

    but ur really good

if u posted some tortuils woul be nice

  • XD id make cover just dont have came corder but will and listhen it is f minor XD

  • no no listhen it is f third fret then down to 4th fret tisk tisk

  • you dont have to tune the guitar a half step down just play everything a step higher save's some trouble

  • It is LOWER than standard so how are you going to play lower than the Em chord and the 133 (F - I think) while in standard tuning??

  • the fingers go one fret up(or down just depends if your talking pitch tone or finger placement) instead of the tuning one down

  • put in drop d. Ok, its an alternate tuning, but easier to change back to standard. And you can play 133 like 333.

  • i am looking up all videos on how to play it and i know it but everyone either has 7 fret then to 5 down to 2 or 6,4,3,2,1 and the one i play is 5,3,2,1 which one is it

  • The way I have it tabbed is the way they play it and the tuning is a half step down from standard.

Poeple that play 6,4,3,2,1 are probably in standard tuning and it would really sound the same as mine.

  • no thats a semi tone up not down

  • This is really good! i just got the exact same guitar as you yesterday! this is one of the first songs i learned haha Good Job!

  • Your cover is very goood!

    take a look at mine?

  • what is a half step i have same exact guitar as u color and all plz tell what half step and how to do the part on the tabs with the x es insetead of numbers

  • Half step down use your tuner to tune all strings 1 semitone lower (b = flat) to

Eb Ab Db Gb Bb eb

Another way to do it, I believe is to put a capo on the first fret - then tune your guitar like normal to standard - when you remove the capo you got half step down.

For the X's all you do is lift the pressure off the strings with your fret hand so they are lightly touching. Will have to practice to get the sound you want.

  • It means you tune down. It's kind of hard to explain lol. It's not standard tuning... Try looking it up.

  • i have the exact same guitar as u color and all can u plz tell me how to do half step i am not sure what that is. i understand the tabs perfect though good job

  • the fucking tabs are on the video

  • tabs please

  • I learned from you man...
