The movie is just more realistic than the game.. 47 staying with Nika is because he has the same background as her creating emotion. And it turns out she is his rescue. Because of her he doesn't kill the agent eventually saving him from the church and creating a possibility to be picked up by agent Smith wich is a genious fucking ending btw

the reason why they made him more talkative and more friendly in this movie is coz they need to have some main roles in both sides as in good and bad... if he killed every person he seen then what the point of making a hitman movie. Fair enuff in the game u can kill anyone but that depends on the way u play some people go around killing everyone and some people complete missions properly. I dont think they could make the movie better than this

This scene is not really meant to take over the sword fight scene but rather the part where they (the interpol guys) first saw him. Just that instead of broad daylight, it was underground. He said the exact same thing to Nika, "Nika, i need you to stay here" in both scenes.

I prefer this one. On the game anyway, I prefer contracts than blood money because 47 shoots using his both hands rather than one hand only which is not really professional. Because I do the Mozambique Drill all the time on my targets.

He made two friends in the games. Mai Ling or whatever shes called and the american secret service guy. And diana but you cant really count her. He also often talks to people in levels including bartenders i seem to remember a doctor in one(its been ages since i played the games) Also if hes disguised he talks to a lot more people. How ever i agree with you with the not really. lets hope the next film's better :)

@DaveHealey1 Hitman dosen't care about any of them, he's met Ming Lai twice I'd hardly call that a frendship and he dosen't even like the secet service guy. In the dance with the devil cutscene Diana tell's him she might not live through the night and he just dosen't give a shit, but I think the next scene where 47 snap's the canary's neck just sum's up how cold & emotionless he relly is.

@DaveHealey1 He didnt make friends with the CIA agent,in fact he was getting on his nerves. And dont forget the priest from Hitman silent assassin that he spent the whole game searching for. Despite of what people say,Hitman film has almost nothing to do with the game-needless to say that the actor dosent even remind of him (voice,character...) All in all,this is a high budget Hollywood mainstream summer hit that is a ripoff on an high quality European game :)

The movie was good, I loved the acting and especially being a Timothy Olyphant fan I enjoyed it. But being played the Hitman games it wasn't a good movie considering that it carries the name "Hitman". There was too much straight shooting-action I guess.

Agent 47 was very sloppy in the movie, I agree with 'mass murderer' score if it was the game. In a future Hitan movie the fans want to see more clever, believable but intricate assasinations! Not over the top sword play, etc. Action yes, Intelligence yes, tacky rubbish NO

In Hitman 2-Silent assassin there is a katana sword,and if you saw the film,then you know that all of them have been taught for millions of ways to kill from,childhood,which contained ancient fighting arts too(the kid performs a karate trick in the starting scene) and if you had Hitman 4 the game,then you should got up at the end.Yes you can get up cuz Diana kissed you with the anti-serum,you have to press W! So Mr 47 didn't die!He's alive!You have to massacre the guards and that's very hard :P

This (the original director's original version) is a lot better than the swordfight, which was amazingly lame. Not only was it a lousy fight-scene, but I could feel the different mood in the movie in that particular scene. The swordfight-scene is probably what the rest of the movie had looked like had Xavier (Dir.) been replaced and the movie's rating pushed down to a PG-13.

And I, for one, had not enjoyed it. But that might be because I've played the game and like quality.
