I had the sony vegas trial that just expired so i got this one. I noticed that you cannot use video fx on the titles, which really bothers me because so much could be done with the texts in sony vegas pro. Am I doing it wrong or is it not possible?

@Beves640 You can apply all the video effects to text - no problem. Just drag the effect onto the text, or click on the effects icon on the text event

Is sony vegas pro 9.0 the same thing as sony vegas platinum 9.0?

@KeshaForever10 No. Pro is the Pro version, while Platinum is the 'home' version. Not much difference between them, except the Pro allows 99 audio tracks, 99 video tracks, and has more effects.
