GM deserves to go bankrupt. They had a plan in Ste-Therese, Canada, who uses the make Camaro/Firebird. On the average of the last 10 production years, the cars coming out that plan had the highest quality rating of any GM assembly line when they decided to close down the plan! Everyone has a different story why such and such will last longer, i have a 95gm sierra with 330 000, the only thing replaced is the radiator, and that truck has had a very VERY rough life. I also work at a mine where they have ford crew cabs for us to go onto the hill, brand new 2009 and they just scrap theme at 30 000 kms because everything falls apart on theme.

Well, I'm glad there was only ONE brandon and the frog comercial.... it drives me absolutely nuts!
I knowi it's your income from the show, but then again, most of US viewers would rather NOT watch FLD than watch it with those STUPID commercials.

GM/FORD/CHRYSLER were too busy investing profits into building plants to cut down on labor cost, forgot about NEW TECHNOLOGY.
Just remember a very old saying. What happens to GM happens to America. Economist have written about it for years. You won't have to worry about getting a new Honda or Toyota because they don't take food stamps for car payments.

i know that lexus uses the lower case h at the end of some model names to show that its a hybrid, like the LS600h or the RX400h, but why would that use an H and another h in the new HS250h? i would assume that both H's refer to the fact that its a hybrid. seems redundant to me..

dude american auto makers are getting what they deserve, and this is coming from an american living in new york! when they were making record braking profits a few years ago, they did not use the money to improve the quality of their cars, they just cheapened them down more.
what they need to make is not fuel efficient cars, but they need to make quality cars!!!! any car can be fuel efficient, just take a 1.0 L diesel from europe, but it takes effort to make quality.

It will never happen. A $10,000 per car tariff on imports will protect the big three. Don't think for a minute the US will let 2.5 million jobs fly away with peripheral job loss.
As far as I'm concerned they can put a $50K tarrif on all foreign imports. Build it here, or eat it.
