I would request everyone to at least hear the original song by waqar ali called ' mera naam hai mohabbat ' . It is wayyy better ... you can easily decide if you have even a little sense of music ... I am not criticizing pritam because he did a decent job and this is not the only time he has stolen songs ! Thumbs up so that everyone can see .

@gunnersfor4life I just heard the original. It's different. The singer Waqar Ali is very good indeed. His voice is different to that of Soham Chakraborty, the singer here. The music, even though it's nice, is a bit old-fashioned, more like 90's pop. This song by Pritam has a more modern theme and has a better musical arrangement in MY OPINION. I think you are the type of nostalgic person who appreciates more old-fashioned music, almost simply for the sake of it. This is the picture I'm getting.

@shushanto Yea somehow you are right ... And i never said that this version is not good but what i'm trying to say is that The original version is more natural and has more feel in it ... Although this is not exactly the copy of that song but it is very similar ( probably with a bit of modern touch ) ... And i hope you know that how Pritam copy tunes of different languages but he does a good job in that !

@gunnersfor4life No just wondering. Personally I don't have any preferences based on nationality, but some people seem to always say that something from their region is the best. I am from Kolkata in West Bengal, India. We speak Bangla, an Indian language (Bangladesh is named after our language, not the other way around - everybody seems to think the opposite for some reason)
