  • Why do people dislike this, its a great vid!

  • John Dolmayan uses this, very consistent ride for metal and rock music.. Sounds amazing and sustaining. Love it!

  • love the sound of the bell

  • i always loved the bells on big heavy rides, but the rest of the cymbal blends too much when doing a faster more consistent pattern

  • @ToolKid21 I don't like Paiste in general....

  • @BarrinRayne Paiste is exquisite ears only...

  • It rings longer than my zil-bel...

  • Would the stick sound on this ride cymbal cut more than a sabian AAX 22" metal ride?

  • This would've been much better with another drummer playing it. The style it's being played makes it sound very dull.. I'd like to see PW jackson play it.

  • someone should have started singing Twisted Sister, and using a cowbell too

  • Too dark sounding for my tastes.

  • lol at the wignut trying to undo itself because it cant cope with how much awsomeness it has to hold

  • Just liked the bell

  • Favourite ride= 22 inch Nicko mcbrain signiature reflector.

  • i want some metal!

  • How much is the ghost that moves the wing nut round whilst you're playing?

  • Does the cymbal come with a rotating knob? That would kick ass...

  • His face at the beginning!! "If I had some hair, they would blow off my head"

  • @thisisformusiconly Yeah, I actually own the Blue Bell, love it to death :) It's a little less straight out metal than this one though, which in my opinion is good; versatility's great. But for straight out metal, I'd say this.

  • why don't they ever do BLAST BEATS

  • I have this ride, absolutely unbreakable. The bell sound is a highlight, cuts through everything live. Its not too washy which is great, has a nice stick definition when played on the bow. also it actually is possible to crash/ride it, although the result sound is almost deafening! I play in a thrashy metalcore kind of band and also a death metal band.

  • Wow what a ginormous bell! :o

  • This cymbal sounds awesome! Seems very versatile all around for rock/punk/metal respectively

  • will that ever stop ringing!!!!!!! amazing sounding cymbal.

  • that's a hell of a ride!

  • best ride i have ever heard i dond use a ride but i plan to start and this rude ride is not washy like others ......great sound

  • in terms to play metal wich ride is better. this one or the sabian hh power bell ride? somebody please help.

  • @makingmayhem678 This one. If you're going for metal, I'm pretty sure there's not a better ride to be had.

  • @AspiringRocker729 Yes there is. The Paiste Blue bell ride or the Sabain aa metal x ride. Both are made for metal.

  • @makingmayhem678 DUDE!! get a Sabain AA metal-x ride its perfect for metal. Or if you have the money the Paiste blue bell ride.

  • What crash is that?It sounds amazing.

  • @MrCalebcolkmire Paiste 16" Twenty Series Thin Crash Cymbal

  • Man that thing rings for EVER! Nice

  • i luv the stick definition but i prefer tone so i luv the sabian hh power bell ride :)

  • this thing is pretty much a thinned out and straightened anvil XD

  • this sure has some volume on it.. still the bell is not what i look for

  • dont like the sound, i like turkish cymbals more, but i love how the scre is losing itself :D

  • i actually can't say i'm too amazed by this cymbal... Falls under expectations for me, especially the power and sustain of the bell

  • haha we both heard the same shit lol cool cymbal..the overtones are pretty deep, im really digging the bell though

  • Holy crap! What a cymbal :D

  • pretty sure its a paiste twenty thin crash, but Im just guessing from looks

  • bet you i could get that thing to crash brilliantly ;)

  • ehhh i dont like rides like that i like light rides the the zildjian a custom sweet ride or the k custom light ride i like to smack the shit out of them.

  • that thing is huge.

  • That cymbal has the most epic bell ever.

  • endless sustain, lol

  • to TheAngryPirate610 below me... I'd pick this cymbal up too.... and then drop it down the highest mountain I could find

  • wow the bell is just amazing!

i'd definatly pick this cymbal up :)

  • wow that ride is huge.. it moved the cymbal nut while he was playin lol

  • what a giant ride

  • WOW. That's a lot of power. of course, I expect nothing less from the RUDE series.

  • check the hh power bell ride:) more power

i was like .. searching 4 the louder cymbal

when i bought the sabian hh power bell i was playin both .. and i can say that the power bell is louder

  • Anything more than what's demonstrated here would just be excessive in my mind.

  • yeah, i would say the rude series is paiste's failure. they are just cheap sounding. otherwise paiste makes good cymbals. the hh powerbell ride is amazing i wish i could afford it, if crash it your ears just about bleed. Travis Smith uses it and get great results on the Trivium Records.

  • ok well i just searched that hh powerbell ride and in my opinion it sucks on major cock. but then again that is my own personal preference.

  • yeah, get what you like. both the rude and hh powerbell ride are great for metal. i just think the rudes are a little too trashy for my taste. check out what zildjian and meinl have too.
