Why are people whining about Lidar? (Laser) the cop CAN'T be moving to use it, so if you're in a city area; like he was ,and not on a highway going under bridges, you don't have to CARE about laser. Most cops setup a two/three car team, where one uses the lidar off the bridge, and the other ones go after you. IF your Lidar alarm goes off on most detectors, you're already fucked. There are some that claim to shield you, but I really don't rely on it.
@a4Audi2153 i dont know which part of your HEAVY WEIGHT radar suppose to BLOW me away... they all do the same job.. REMINDS YOU TO BE RESPONSIBLE on the road.
@rayhan007 they all do the same job? nahhh trust me they dont a 30$ detector doesnt do the same as a 300$ dtector plain and simple. i just dont like cobras haah just my opinion...
@a4Audi2153 ..true.. maybe money matters.. but its great to know that a $30 product is doing the same job as a $300 products which is letting you know..there's cop around holding a laser gun towards you. It would be worth it if you were using your $300 products every single day and it was saving you from tons of penalties and tickets.. Honestly i barely use my radar. In that case my $85 radar is a winner. ;)
@rayhan007 dont wanna sound like a dick here lol but you cant detect laser you can only detect radar.... im guessing your a little uninformed with radar and not trying to insult you but check my vid out on my page catching K band now i have a 300$ detector and i guarentee you couldnt ick up that good range with a cobra or somthing crappy like that under 100$... my friends got some and they suck. they false and have bad range simple as that.. i speed all the time so i need a good one... lol

I BARELY use mine cause theres not much cops around in my area.. i am from long island, Ny. my video showed i was passing a radar.. true that.. but in some cases it warned me when a cop was shooting a laser gun right at my car. I have done research on my product before i purchased it dude. I dont speed ALL the time but i travel a lot.. once in a while i tend to go over 100's without knowing it on highways.. and for that reason i still think it does a good job..

if it is like more than a few seconds there's a cop. and it went all the way to signal 5. if it is a Laser, it will show a Laser visual signal on the monitor. i just bought mine, and i was just reading the manual. hehehe! is it pretty accurate on the actual everyday drive? i got away with a warning for speeding which should cost around 200 bucks, that's why i bought my cobra 9845
