not trying to get racy but I work at a Game Stop and typically Xbox 360 game/system buyers tend to be angry, red neckish, lifted truck driving angry ass people whereas PS3 and Wii customers tend to be quiet and very calm customers but hey what do I know I only work 5 days a week.... I have all 3 and I love my 360, my PS3 and the Wii but I concur the 360 does have a militant fan base. Not saying everyone is like that that buys a 360 but that's typically who I've seen buy it.

I never get to hear the first 4 seconds of this when I boot my Xbox. The audio on my state-of-the-art Sony audio/video system doesn't play it. Even if I keep it on the game input and turn the console on, I only hear the last second of it. Maybe it's the HDMI.

That would be 99% of the games. Some of the Arcade titles are full 1080 but the overwhelming majority of retail games are 720p or even sub HD. That goes for the PS3 as well.

@360ownez Actually the 360 is natively 1280x720 (720p for all your regular folk), but some games drop the resolution to 1024x576 or 1024x600 (e.g. Halo 3/ODST, Modern Warfare 2, etc.) to save on fill rate and improve performance to the 30/60fps standard. There are very few 1920x1080 (1080p) native games out there, most are just upscaled if you set your 360 to that resolution.

Still, FWIW, if you can't afford or don't want a gaming PC, these systems produce some pretty good graphics.
