  • It's about 11.15 Am in Holland..I definitely like to eat this food right know!

  • They turned out perfectly... Thanks

  • Thanks for sharing such a simple recipe for one of my FAVOURITE foods!! And even more so for the advice that they can be frozen for up to a month; means I can make a big batch on the weekend and then enjoy the results for the rest of the month! :)

  • are you pregnant ?

  • @donnieboy123 Nop!

  • Mmm

  • my step mother is korean and me and my sister are american. my step mother used to make this for us when we were children and i am starting to make for my children now. love this recipe but, i usually make with bean thread noodles also...is very good!...:()

  • omg im so hungry i want this NOW :(

  • @BaldheadedBaby1 I hope I will have one too! hehe. =)

  • can u make a chicken bulgogi or deh ji chicken?

  • tried it, was too greasy

  • WOW! Great video. I was looking for a video that would show me how to make Crab Wontons and yours just hit it on the nose for me. Thank You! I look forward to watching more videos of your How to's.

  • I love your videos! Thank you for the healthy recipe. I have a 3 year old that is a very picky eater. She was on a liquid diet because she was not eating anything at all. As a parent, it was scary and sad to go through. Then, we discovered that the only thing she will eat is Asian style foods, specifically Korean. I'm trying to collect as many recipes as possible. I am Italian and it is completely different to what I was raised on and taught. Can you please do a few breakfast recipes?

  • @aquia80 I'm sorry to hear about you having a hard time with your daughter. There is not a lot of Asian breakfast food, because we eat the same types for all three meals. I have a few mild Korean food recipes that Korean kids like. What type of Asian food she likes? I'm more than willing to help you out. Let me know what type of food she likes and I will see what kind of recipe I can come up with.

  • @seonkyoung83 Thanks so much for responding! Kimbap is her favorite. I make it for lunch almost everyday with different types of vegetables and meats. I need something new to make. :o)

I tried this wonton recipe with steamed rather than fried dumpling and she ate every bite. Yay! She loves many Korean stews and soups. She will eat dumplings and rice, but not noodles. Any ideas for other types of finger foods I can try? It's funny, she will eat from chopsticks but not a spoon or fork.

  • @aquia80 Haha, that's funny she likes to use chopsticks! You can make this wonton with "Pork&Chive", "Chicken&Cabbage", "Shrimp &Pork" and more. I will send you a message for more recipes later!!

  • @aquia80 ...you sure ur kid is not korean?...lol

  • @aquia80 ...I'm sure your kid can use a spoon or fork...who are u kidding here?....i bet she prefers to speak Korean over English too huh?.....

  • @uofawildcat48 My daughter was diagnosed with a hypersensitive gag reflex. Spoons and forks make her gag, sometimes makes her get sick. Chopsticks do not touch the tongue and she will not shove them away from her face. Unless you've ever gone through the frustration of having a child that goes weeks straight without eating, you would not understand. Please keep your rude comments to yourself. It was a blessing to find something that she COULD and WANTS to eat.

  • @aquia80 ....I won't keep my comments to myself!....This is a free world and i have a right to express my opinion!...I think ur going overboard with the who spoon and fork BS. I've had gag reflex's since i was a child and i do just fine!....Your probably one of those "Proxy by Munchausen" Parents. Just Let your kid be a kid for heaven's sake...and quit coddling her!

  • @uofawildcat48 Nice of you to try to assume you know me, but you are way off mark here. I tried the eat what I put on the table or you get nothing approach. It lead to a lot of fights over food and my daughter not eating ANYTHING. I'm not talking a day or two- I'm talking 2 YEARS of it. Docs had to put her on a liquid diet because she was starving herself. There's not enough room here to explain the problem is with my daughter, but it boils down to allergies and nasal drippage.

  • @uofawildcat48 Imagine if your loved ones were starving before your eyes and what that would feel like. Imagine making 6 or 7 different types of meals a day and throwing all of it in a rubbish bin. Its expensive and stressful. My conversation was with Seonkyoung and she was very generous in sending me some other recipes (TY my daughter loves them). You say you have a gag reflex. Everyone is different and don't expect it to be the same for everyone as it was for you.

  • @aquia80 ....My comment wasn't about your daughter having a gag reflex or not, originally. It was only about the fact that you said "She will eat from chopsticks but not a spoon or fork".....I think that's the part that's BS!

  • Can u make plain wontons without the crab. Im mad cause im allergic to shellfish and i be seeing some good recipes.

  • @virgingirl26 I might need to make another wonton video with some meat in it and vegetarian version!

  • @seonkyoung83 Ok love the video.

  • omg! you are sooo adorable & this looks totally YUM!! i'll definitely try this recipe for sure. i hate the wontons i get at my local chinese restaurants because they all have cream cheese & i hate cream cheese! but this looks really, really good!!!

  • @yari139 Thank you for your kind words! =) I don't like cream cheese in sushi or wonton either! I tried on time, ahhhh, it was hard to eat for me! I like cream cheese when it's in dessert, or on my bagels though. I love strawberry cream cheese! =)

  • I made this with my mother (I help her with cooking a lot) and they were excellent! And you are right, I thought this was a lot of work but it only took us twenty minutes to put together and another ten to fry, so it only took us half an hour to make twenty of them! Although one of them exploded in the pan, so I should say nineteen. Lol!

  • hii im not a cooker or anything haha. I really want to try this though.

    i was wondering

How do you get THAT MUCH crab meat:(

did you actually take it out from the actual crabs?

  • @LilPrinces5 Nop, I didn't but the store do all the job for you! You can get ready to go crab meat at sea food section of your local store, even walmart! =)

  • Thanks for the recipe - it looks delicious. Saw some of your videos months ago and just found your Beef Kimbop recipe on Kai's channel (my fave Asian cooking channel). Glad to see you two have made the youtube connection.

  • @ChuteSpades He's trying! =)

  • thz for your video, i really like it

but im curious what kind of crab do u use?

also, did u boil it before stir fry with vegies?

  • @somadikate You can get crab meat(cooked already!) in the container at sea food section of your local store and that is what I used! =) Normaly it's about 1 1/2 to 2cups. And my crab container doesn't say what kind of crab, but just says that it is fresh hand picked crab meat. =)

  • excellent. Ive just been out with a scoop net and caught fresh blue swimmer crabs and just so happen to have frozen wonton wrappers way down back of my freezer somewhere so now i know what im going to make. thankyou for this recipe its so simple!

  • Just made this with my wife and kids..OMG it sooo good. Thank you!

May God bless you and your family..

    Chef Kai+Kitty ( my wife)

  • @ltkman COOOOOOOOOOOL~!!! I'm really, really happy to hear that from YOU, Chef Kai!!! =D

  • I like the way how you used the tsp /tbs to "measure" your amount of filling! Very smart. i love the way how you did that. Plus, I like how you explain about the dynamics of the ingredients, and how important it is to add the greens last. Not only that, i like how you stripped it of the vines--very nice. I'm learning a lot from your cooking ethics. Thanks a bunch!

  • @kmxhlivn I'm so happy that you catched all that!! =D This is one of reasons I wanted to make cooking videos not just only for recipes but tips and fun!

  • @seonkyoung83 Hi, nice recipe . can one bake or boil these instead of frying?

  • @bouyon4dmasiv I haven't try bake or boil, but maybe steam will be good too. =) Or if you cook like gyoza, which is turn on the stove mideum heat,1tablespoon of oil on the pan, when the oil gets hot, put the wontons and pull 1/4 cup water into the pan and cover it with the lid. Cook about 3 to 5 min until all the water go away and the bottom of the wonton looks nice golden brown. =)

  • @seonkyoung83 that sounds good, THANKS!!

  • looks delicious as always. I love crab wontons!! BTW, you got a great knife skill!!

  • @kaerunohime Thank you very much!! =D

  • Did you actually take the crab meat out of crab or buy it another way?

  • @bluemoonreefer You can buy fresh crab meat at your local store, seafood section. =) It will probably cost $6 to $8(cheaper than dinner buffet!) to make my "Crab Wonton" recipe, it depends what kind of crab, but it is really easy to get! =D Don't forget to check the date!! Oh, and the fresh wonton wrapper I used on this video, you can find at fresh tofu, vegetable section, and it cost around $2. =)

  • Nice video

  • @powerplantop Thank you! =)

  • hahaha you don't need the cooking spoon just use your hand :) , thanks for sharing your dinner recipe today looks delicious. 5 star.

  • @SkyPuba WOW, really? =D Thank you!!!

  • @seonkyoung83

LOL - I love your sense of humour. Next thing you know, she'll tell you there's no need to use chopstick for frying - you can use cooking tongs.
