@apxeli that game looks sooo confusing.. but fun lol.. Robert "Bob" Yannes is the guy that made the sid chips for the c64 annnnnd hes also the founder of the ensoniq company! and i heard he put the chips in the esq-1 and the sq80 and the mirage!

Cool stuff on the Sq80. 98% of the people posting videos with these in them just try and make the typical analog synth sounds on these...completely ignoring the beauty of 8-bit digital oscillators.

@benaolson yeah this synth is crazy! very underated!..sad thing i sold it[need to pay bills]..buttt i didnt sell the cartridge;D soo i kept my sounds.. i just need to get another sq80 now!

lol you know i try to use the ms2000 and the mk but i always go with the sq80 at the end of the day! for leads, bass and pads.. but the best part is that it has an easy sequencer!

Even thru the crappy sound quality of the 'tube people can clearly realize how much warmer & richer the sq80 sounds..

Those qualities disappaered from the modern products like the ms2000 though It is a very likeable toy indeed.
