Spawk what is you take on Austrian Economics? What do you think about Human Action and its views on empiricism? Would you think Mises would agree with you on this issue? Do you believe in Consequentialism?
Sorry if I sound snobby, but I want to know the perspectives of someone with your particular view.
Not because I agree with what you're saying, but because of the way you respond and defend your positions.
Taboos are weird haha. At first I had a hard time understanding where you were coming from, but at least now I have a lot to think about and read up on.
Also not that it matters, but this is coming from someone who would have a lot of friends and family kicked out of here if you had your way. Happy trails!
Liked the series, all of it. Although I'm still sad that you dismiss "Failed State" scenarios altogether. I know that Failed State/=Stateless society, but the failed state scenarios I run seem pretty exciting, and I have a strong preference for excitement.
Convincing arguments. However, even if your plan was implemented, my guess is that the libertarian movement would still be blocked out from any significance based on all of the lobbyists, "intellectuals," corporate powers, etc that are highly influential in the political system. On the other hand, it might be worth looking at the ways that different political ideologies have come to power over time.
I just finished watching this series. I realize over the course of this debate that I do not know enough about this subject to comment on it anymore. So all of my past comments on this subject no longer apply. I remove myself from this debate until such time as I am educated on the subject enough to take a position on it.
Indeed. Fuck brainpolice. Not sure why u even responded to him. He just makes shit up and sais weird crap about the shit he makes up. He doens't even respond ot arguments. He just strawman's people.
OK Question for u, spawk, by what criteri would you judge what a person is able to do, what many would call rights? Would it be based in past behavior? Race? Income level? Sexual preference?
@Spawktalk I don't know if I missed it, but is there a chance you could point me to the links you said you'd put up in the first part of this series?
