I remember Ozzy Osbourne didn't write anything in black sabbath, including the lyrics, and then he got a whole new group together so it's obvious that it's going to be different. Now as for quality, take one listen to diary of a madman (the song).

@ZomgGuitarz1234 Yes i know it's obvious why they sound different, i mean they will still play the same style for the most part but still. With a band there are many different ideas coming together going back to the old saying "If 2 heads are better than one then..." Quality is not always depleted, and its not always bad. Sting's solo work was equal to that of The Police imo but there are people like Phil Collins who had good work alone, but nothing in comparison to his band.

So he wrote this song for her and played it at a party for the first time for her. They later married, but divorced in like 1980 something.
