I know it's a Kia, but damn that's a tempting car. 173hp, 6 speed manual, full leather and looks like that for $19k? That's ridiculously awesome.

I now want two cars. One, my dream car that I drive only on sunny, dry days, and another cheap, fun to drive car to commute in and to generally thrash without worrying about trashing a $10k transmission, etc., etc., aka, this Kia. :D

I tell you what...I was a Kia skeptic until this year. My wife and I have owned our Soul for about 7000 miles. That is so much car for the money. This company is making some hot cars at bargain prices.

sadly this is a pretty appealing car. I have never shown any interest in carbon copy Korean cars since Hyundai and Kia simply rip off successful designs and then make them cheaply but with the Genesis out Kia is under pressure to bring up the appeal of its line. As much as I hate tha Soul I know it will be successful and for the price of this car and the look factor this is going to be a hot car for all those 20 year olds. I mean the thing has lancer taillights, mazda gauges, and civic frame

Apparently this car is going to actually have that same 2.0T from the Hyundai Genesis thats pretty tight. I think that would the highest trim though.

Exterior design is pretty impressive, better than Hondas and Mazdas...very upscale like Audi, Acura, BMW. Interior is horrible! THey should look at BMW, VW, Audi for ideas...just don't overdo it like shiny plastics or too much cheap metallic plating. Use soft rubber with tight fit. I'd buy this car if the specs and price was less.

IMHO civic coupe design is way off proportion. its too wide! the new mazda is just right. but this new kia takes it to the next level. watch out lancer evo!

He has a point, the word is French, and in the UK we spell it Coupé. But then again, we are neighbours with the French, so it's understandable that their culture would have a bigger impact on ours then yours.

I owned a 2002 Optima loaded to the gills with all the amenities. There was a used Accord coupe at the Honda dealer across the street w/60K mileage. I bought the Optima for 5 or 6 grand less. I NEVER had any problems with it at all. I just test drove a Genesis Coupe 3.8. While I like the new Z car as much, it is NOT worth a 4 thousand dollar premium over and above the Genny. Kia builds very good cars.

Kia makes very good and trusty cars. It's cheap and the mark is comming higher and higher. So my oppinion is this car is cool... so hot. I 'm just curious how much will it cost. But all in all the car is beautiful no matter what snob people say.

Kia is developimg very fast. My father g=has 3.5 v6 kia sorento. GREAT CAR i see the guys with the big buicks that cannot fit them in the parking space or cannot go out. better buy bus.
