Ah, the Organist Entertains...surprised it's still on the air (isn't it?). Enjoyed it for many years from the mid 80s until about 2005, just isn't the same anymore. Can't blame the production team, Radio 2 just wants rid.
I love all of my organs, but I used to think one versatile organ could cover the range to play just about anything. Hammond Elegante's from 81' is that organ more than any. My Wurlitzer 625t is also that organ. The 625t has a synth that is very versatile for either blending w/ organ voices or separate. It's a great organ through external tone cabinets & Leslies. I hope to get, or make a High rotor for the Elegante, as the Elegante has a Rotosonic Leslie, also install the new HOAX tone wheel sys
