I can remember when the Brady bunch aired on ABC. I remember when they began airing reruns on ABC daytime in June 1973 it replaced Bewitched reruns. When it began airing o remember thinking how different the 1st season theme song sounded compared with the 4th season version airing in prime time Friday nights
I hear that they are making a new modern Brady Bunch! No joke it is all over google, cant wait!! Sandra Bullock, and Matt Damon, are most likly to be Mr. and Mrs. Brady the kids are yet to be decided in any considerations
My brother gave the complete Brady Bunch series on DVD for Christmas. The first episode of "The Bradys" is included. It's amazing how many incarnation this series had with the original cast. Really it ran for ten years on television (not consecutively) under various names:
@heartcat80 The Brady Bunch or some incarnation of it has been on TV for almost 42 yrs. This counts when the show was syndicated also. The Brady Bunch never left TV. And remember, "don't play ball in the house".
I think they went overboard with so many Brady Bunch spinoffs and movies after it ended, but I guess it was cool how they always came back (except for Maureen McCormick, who was having a baby at the time).
It looks like your opening credit footage of "The Bradys" came from the original airing, am I right? Do you have all 6 episodes? If so, could you post them? I've only seen the 90 minute pilot (Bobby gets paralyzed) and am dying to see the last 4!
thay never showed the grandparents again after the pilot episode, and they never had a realistic situation such as drugs and alcohol and sex, it was a pure, wholesome show that did well, i liked thew "father of the year" episode the best.....
i liked this show, i was born in 1966 and i didn't watch the episodes originally, i remember watching the last season (1974) because i wanted to watch Love American Style, but later on i found out how popular The Brady Bunch was.... it's also amazing how a show that never made the top ten became a cult classic and a favorite among viewers in the 1970's
Bobby looks like a young Jay Osmond.

You should include the Brady Brides opening too.

I think maybe you could get away without Eve Plumb as Jan but someone else as Marsha except Maureen McCormick is just crazy. The show is her.
