Hey! Ive just gotten into knives and edcs and im 14! I really want to get a starter's knife, but my parents keep saying that it is too dangerous! Coul you please tell me some things that i could say to convince them that it isnt too dangerous?
@Jackup460 chapstick is a must. dry and irritated lips is annoying and can be painful. also you need to look your best and no one likes dried lips (ie. if you were a business person who has to see clientèle)
Two multi tool? Get rid of one. Two Knives? Get rid of one. Two flashlights? Get rid of one. I think were good now. Realistically of course. Just keeping it real bro.

A folder, tactical to be exact, (I agree with you that the word tactical is used too often, stupidly in fact more ofter than not) has specs that allow you to deploy it quickly. That, in my opinion, is what they are for. Mainly grapple emergencies. In case you got to cut or stab you way out of a hold or choke. Theres plenty of places wher a knife is acceptable cont...
@itlfa2009 when a firearm isn't. As a matter of fact there are plenty of times I personally carry a knife instead of a firearm out for pure convience sake. I'm regularly in an environment that dictates it. A firearm, though legal where I am, becomes too problematic. To each his own though. I never criticize someone else's edc because their situation is unique to them and there will be elements I don't understand. But to your main point. I sometimes carry a firearm. I ALWAYS carry a knife.
Great intelligent Vid! Lots of cooks post vids where they claim to carry their Barrett 50 BMG's. You would be amazed how many "men" in mid-rural northern Illinois do not carry any type of pocket knife. We cannot legally carry firearms in IL, the only state in the union b/c of the socialist city of Chicago and its strangle-hold on the state.
Some good and practical tips. Interesting concealed holster, super concealability. Is it uncomfortable, say, in the car or when seated?
Great mention of mobility, I want to be able to move fast and easily if needed, rather than have to heave too much crap around. So that balance of stuff, foresight, preparation, and mobility, I'll keep working on it. Thanks for your video.
hey i know your a cop so ill go ahead and ask ! my brother got into a crash yesterday with me and my mom in the car and yada yada cops came but my bro didn't have his license with him and neither did the other party and we live 4 miles down the road and the cop refused to let my mom go get it ! but he let the other party go get theirs and they were back within 20/30 mins there and we stayed there for about an hour and a half in that time we could have gone and came back again
@specops1law and the cop kept telling my mom to go away and stop asking questions and do not talk to him yet the other tie was spent talking to the other party and we were the victims ! is this worthy of a complaint ?
This really seems like a realistic EDC.. The only thing i'd might question is the two flashlights... If i were to add something it would probably be some first aid type stuf like a couple of band aids in the wallet or the cargo pockets..... This is the one of the few EDC systems i've seen where you seem to actually have pocket space left to use...:) People seem to load up on gear just because they can fit it...

Who needs a gun for edc like really... On my regular day I would go to the mall friends house ride bikes go to some stores.... Some people carry like 2 knives 1 is a backup like really? Why do u need a backup one large folder can do everything and more than a smaller

@Tpaul2510 You have a lot to learn. People like you are often times the ones people like me have to save in bad situations. I have personally seen where being prepared to the level that I am has saved a life. Just for an example the Trolley Square Shooting in salt lake city, a man came in shooting people in the mall, one armed (prepared) person was able to stop him from killing even more people. The people at the mall that day did not plan on that shooting happening that day but one was prepered
@SpookeySVG I had 2 Razor's before I finally switched to another phone. I did enjoy them (which is why I replaced the first with another) but the large front screen kept cracking. Now I have a generic $20 phone that works fine.
Very interesting holster system. Does the gun weight not swing and rack your balls? I guess you must cinch it tight? I might have to try it out. I like that the system might protect from women who kick.

You should try appendix inside the waistband carry. It would be a small training curve for you. I hope you never get into a gunfight with that smart carry because your going to have a hell of a time getting off the X, reaching down your pants and drawing (especially with a small 1911 platform that has a beavertail, hammer, safety, etc. sticking out of it). Unfortunately (for you), you would have to give up your "smedium" shirts. Just something to look into and think about...
@knifegunguy "Lets just say I have enough to hold my own." OK....that doesn't mean that you don't need to train anymore and that you shouldn't experiment to find better ways to do things. I'm not saying your systems don't have their niche (IMO your systems should be reserved for NPEs). You should do some testing and post a video!

@VulcanRider900LT I have not herd of the Zack holster but I will check it out but I have done handstands with that P238 with no problems but more safety is almost always better. As for the knife all I can say is sorry but you could carry something like the med cold steal espada that would still do a lot as a defensive tool.

Have you thought about using a Zack holster for the P238? Since you carry locked-n-cocked. You might want to add it as an extra safety measure.
Also, I wish I could carry bigger than 4" blade, but NC has their laws.
