Tunsberg City was my fave, but after watching more of your vids I think I like em all! You are very talented...best wishes on a bright future as a Director/DP/Editor...best...
i love the take-away show concept but the audio's a bit overproduced, no? too much reverb and post-production for me.
i mean, my favorite part about videos like this are the fragile very live very acoustic and very here and now feel of the performance. video says yes to this. audio says i'm in a studio.
well, that wasn't tactually intentional. Or the reverb wa js, but the audio was amazingust straight from the mic. We actually had no idea it would be that good. And since it was that good, we added the reverb and it just made the song even more magical. At least for us.
But I agree with you that it is better when it's "raw". But I still like this version a lot.
how did you make it look like you have more than one camera? multiple angles? did you only use 1 cam?

@marQuemusic Shot it twice and was lucky with the shots :)

One question: Which version of the SGpro do you own?
Also is it true that its loud?
chulokulo 2 years ago
I own the SGpro rev 3.
No, that´s not true at all :)
Maybe if you have a shotgun mic mounted on your camera.. then you might pick up some humming.. but.. no.. it´s not loud at all :)

How did you convert the movie from the dvx into HD in YouTube?
MichaelMildura 2 years ago
Hi there.
I exported from premiere pro to a 1050x576 pixel .avi file. Then I used quicktime pro and uprezzed it to 1280x720 with the h.264 codec :)

sent you a message, don't know if you got it. But my brother held a Røde NTG-1 with a pistol-grip towards Robert.
