I'm glad they interviewed the you lady because a lot of people think that its only elderly who get it and while they are the majority its not only elderly or 60+, I was diagnosed at age 30 and ten years later i am still kicking and praise God!
My Dad had cml for 16 years before he died, gleevec was the last drug he was on, it helped him for a few years but it stopped working for him. I wish this other drug had been available before he died.

My 12 year old sister was diagnosed with cml just 3 weeks after i broke my c2 in 2 places and was almost paralysed. she is now on desatanib
