"Obamacare" doesn't exist, people. Good lord. It's simple healthcare reform that should've happened ages ago. I, for one, am going to sit down and read the ENTIRE original bill the second I get home from work.
Now that America knows what is in the bill, why is it strongly against it? Because we all know what the government can control if it controls our healthcare right? Almost everything. Why don't we move to China???
The fundamental dishonesty of this video is pretending only Republicans are against Obamacare.
Major polls show that a majority of Americans are against obamacare. Even a majority of independents are against it. And a sizable number of democrats have said they won't vote for it without major changes.
There's a couple dozen democrats who won't consider voting for it unless an amendment passes that explicitly bans abortion funding. There's lots of other examples of changes many are demanding
Thirty-eight percent say they would advise their member to vote for a health care reform bill this year, 40% would advise a "no" vote, and 22% do not have an opinion.

Opposition to Obama's health care reform plan has reached a new high of 55%, the latest Rasmussen Reports daily tracking poll shows. Just 42% now support the plan, matching the low first reached in August.

I would donate my left kidney to Rush Limbaugh if I could have a public option. But I can't. So you don't have to lie anymore. And it wasn't the Republicans that killed it. It was Max Baucus, a Democrat. Now not only do we not get to choose, we will HAVE to buy crummy private insurance. Not Obamacare; private insurance victory. Happy?
So why are the Democrats trying to negotiate with the Republican'ts? Just leave them in the dust of the 18th Century where they want to be and let the rest of us move into a kinder, gentler, more ethical, health CARE (not health INSURANCE) committed country. Dems need to grow a pair and start representing us, not their donors.
